  6. Why does the story need telling in the first place no one but us cares . Just get on with enjoying it . I dont understand the desire to get young people interested . The scene evolved from a youth culture and matured into what it is now for better or worse its been an organic progression and any attempt to engineer via films or publicity an influx of youth isnt going to work . There are a handfull of young people on the scene the others dont give a toss and never will get it .
  7. Went to the Ric Tic review at the Ritz alldayer stupidly went high got the screaming abdabs and spent the entire show locked in the bogs . Realy wish I had,nt . Drugs are bad just say no .

  16. Yes northern soul was so significant in 1960,s Wigan . More ill infomed rubbish , as I recall the locals and the council hated us .

  18. Nothing suprises me any more I think that Northern soul the brand belongs to the public let em have it , but the Northern soul scene belongs to us still . People can do what they want I will still get out to events and play my vinyl at home and hopefully be seeking out quality soul music long after this current fad has moved on .
