according to legend/myth ivy joe has the most tracks in the vault excluding stevie wonder as he controls all his stuff (about 1500 tracks ).

is that because there is too much stuff ? will there be a fantastic 4 double cd coming next year ? since there was mention on the new cd that there is 50 unreleased tracks in the vaults plus all the released tracks they have it might become a triple cd

if you think the vows is brilliant wait til you hear the versitiles version far better vocal and billy davis can hit the high notes better than morris chestnut i feel he struggles on this track unlike too darn soulful

you might have to make it 1-uptempo 2 mid-tempo 3 ballads 4 lp tracks 5 "b" sides 6 unreleased 7 male group 8 female group 9 male 10 female 11 duet male/female 12 instrumental, that should sort things out .

the temptations i wish it would rain ,the first 35seconds of this record shows the world how good ruffin was really sells the hurt in the song just gets me everytime i hear it . next would be the versitilles-tell me .

jackie wilson -to be loved 4 tops -something about you ,the funks were on fire with this track marvin & tammi-aint no mountain high enough ,the intro with the drumsticks hitting off the side of the drums unique .

so hard to narrow it down to a couple of singers as there has been so many ,i narrow it down to someone who can do all the styles of music while still having a soulful feel to the song im going for ETTA JAMES & DAVID RUFFIN , thats not taking away from anyone;s chojces as in the past 50/60 years we on this forum have been spoiled to have lived in an era where there was so many quality singers that so many slipped through the cracks and never got to be major stars it has taken the soul detectives to discover that cult artist and bring it to our attention and we say to ourselves how was he/she not a huge star ,thats why look at everyones choices and nod my head and say good call .

all to do with payola in the states if a radio station was s een to be playing say 5 motown records then the radio station would be in trouble so berry gordy and other labels had to have multible labels so not to draw attention from the irs .

so pete i could look at the records you have see maybe 10 that i want the price is right ,so i could just drop you a email do it without discogs knowing and would it be the same if you had a few in your want list that i had and do the deal off site so to speak ,would that work ?

sent mine back today to amazon to get a refund ,what a total f--k up maybe with the next one they'll take a bit more care but i wont be buying one i'll stick to cd's as they seem to have mastered how to press them .

would all the people on here that have faulty,missing records please contact universal uk about this --ck up and maybe they might repress this box set its alright bitching on here about it we need to let universal know we are not happy about this the more that complain it might get through to them .

yeah but the repos play better and dont jump ,i got an email back from universal saying its not there fault there trying to blame the 3 rd party which clearly its not ITS THEM they dont want to admit they fcuk'd up big time ,it looks like it was a rush job and no care what so ever was put into it .

trading standards told me i can only get a refund (cash) so we need to get a petion to universal to get this fixed pronto .

finally opened mine all present but jumps on the temptations track but im not impressed by the standard of the vinyl looks like low grade bootlegs ,so tomorrow im going to my local trading standards office see how i stand and how universal stand on this mess like everyone on here i want a replacement not a refund and if enough of us complain to universal they might do a proper press of this box set like the rest of you i cant believe they got this so wrong .
