Show us your great photos (2020)
Had this the other week, it was early and the light was poor, it was in the shadow of the dam, and they are bloody small and quick ... it was a plus for me that I got it in focus, better light and it would have been a beauty, especially with the reflection (not one bird flying below another as one twitter user thought)

I really haven't been spending enough time with my camera, but I managed these at the weekend. They had drained a fair amount of water from the reservoir so they could inspect the wall of the dam, we took advantage and refurbed some of the islands (well some guys with big machines did). So its starting to fill up again now which is good as the shore line is miles away from the path except in a couple of places where I got this fella. A Little Egret

I do, if I flag his name he may see this thread and answer the question, either that or you could send him a message @Dave Rimmer

Clifford Frazier
One of my all time favourite tracks, Man O Man, if you left a comment on any of their YouTube videos there was a good chance that Clifford would respond. In later years they performed as The Green Berets RIP Clifford, you brought us some fabulous memories, thank you.

Jerry "Hippo" Hipkiss R.I.P
I first met Hippo over 40 years ago, gave him a lift a few times when he was stuck, a superb DJ with a fantastic knowledge of music, was always a pleasure to catch up with him over the years, a nicer person you would not find. Really sad to hear of his passing, rest easy my old friend x

To prevent the use of bid sniping software John has a system in place where if a bid is made in the dying seconds, the deadline is automatically extended by a further 3 minutes, if a further bid is made during that extra time a further 3 minutes is added and so on until there are no further bids. It is explained here on his website https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/how-auction-works/

You want to see if you can still get hold of Noiseware as a free download, it is a fairly simple program to use and will clean up the images a treat. Imagenomic Noiseware Community Edition https://noiseware-community-edition.en.softonic.com I have the paid for plug in version that I run in photoshop elements, but I have used the free version in the past and it works exactly the same.

Emoji quiz soul tracks
Cheers young Steve ... when I looked on my phone I could not tell it was a snake, it looked like a green curly W, I should have twigged it was your favourite tune 😉

Congratulations to The Yank I would have joined in if I had the slightest scooby what the emojis meant. Is there an emoji to over 60 year old dictionary available lol 😄

Poll: Version Battle - I really Love You
Jimmy Burns first, it has the edge and rawness that Bobby James doesn't, to my ears. I have always liked the Brand New Faces but either theirs or Jimmy's version would keep me on the dance floor. The other one as Joan eloquently puts it is complete pants.

Manchester Ritz
Looks like Chic to me. The guy bottom right looks like John Stone (from Gloucester now Wolves) I would have been in front of the DJ box, the floor didn't bounce as much there. Not sure that is Toddy, I think it is John from Bolton who sold me my Cecil Washington and Carol Anderson.

Obviously a wise man .... a mistake I made all those years ago, although in fairness I needed a baby sitter at the time 😁
