Great to have you back on the forum Peter It is great to read that you have come to terms with this and have had the courage to write about your experience on the forum which will go some way to raising awareness, and hopefully help someone else experiencing the same emotions. There is help available out there, and anyone feeling this way should not feel embarrassed about contacting their GP or at the very least speaking to a friend, it is amazing what a difference it makes speaking to somebody. All the best Martyn

Sad to report that modern soul DJ Dave Hulmes from Wolverhampton passed away in the early hours of this morning. Dave was a good friend of ours, a regular on the modern soul scene and our gardener. It was a big shock when he called around a few weeks back to tell us he had stage 4 cancer. He was a good friend, and will be greatly missed by Carol and I. Rest peacefully dear friend Martyn & Carol x

Anyone catch Bob's spot last night Shame if you didn't, it will go down in Northern folklore, a thing of legend, in years to come it will be said it never happened, that nothing could have been that good. See you tomorrow boys

Sorry Dave I hadn't registered what Smiffy had said to me until later when we were leaving, you look much younger than your avatar Cheers Ian , I will make sure I get a card with a badge on next year ... if they go up that high. Sorry I missed your set, but it was a long drive home and I was way past my bedtime Thanks Alison, it was a fun night thanks x

Something light with a leather sole ... used to take ages to teach a new pair all the steps again

I have yet to venture out with the big lens this year, been a lot going on, work, wife trying to get me to fit out my man cave with wardrobes, plus visiting kids and grandchildren.

Odd that the dealer makes a big play of it being a demo, I am thinking that the issue is rarer

Sad to report the passing of another Wolverhampton soul boy, Eddie Szwarc or as he was better known Swoz. He had been a friend of my wife since she was in her teens, and of mine for the past 25 years, we were both in shock to learn of his sudden passing. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time RIP Swoz Martyn & Carol x

That Carol Anderson is a great double sider, don’t remember seeing many in boxes through the 90’s but that is an awful lot of money to pay for one. -
