  1. Really sad to hear this the other day, we have both known Martin since the early 90's, one of the most unassuming people you could meet, seemed to be everywhere, always dancing, always enjoying the night. RIP Martin we shall both miss you, our friend. Martyn & Carol
  2. Sad news indeed, always had time for you, always had a smile on his face, the scene will be a poorer place without him ... RIP Max Martyn & Carol
  3. Nice gesture Pete Have a good Christmas
  4. Ged it was quite funny ... when Pete made the same joke several posts earlier I have signed
  5. I cannot help Steve, but have you tried using the search function on here...failing that I can hum it for you
  6. That looks real to me, same as mine, will have Nashville Matrix stamped in run out.
  7. Malc they came from a DJ's kitchen, as they are the same both sides
  8. Does she know how much you are spending on her? $35 list price in 1989 Theres one on US Amazon, but at that price I would wait for the film and get it on DVD
  9. Last minute pressie for the wife
  10. Mark Freeman had one on here this morning, good price too HERE
  11. Bryan Wakelin has a Mecca Weekender on this coming weekend MECCA WEEKENDER Martyn
  12. Glad about that Mark, there is a 50/50 chance we may venture out your way Saturday. I will give the track another listen, when I am fully alert, as I was sort of putting lyrics on to it in my head, something familiar to it. Martyn
  13. Mark not a clue sorry...however as chairman of his fan club I would have thought he would tell you if you asked him Martyn
  14. I take your point. It is probably because I have seen loads of them out and about in dealers boxes at the £10 - £20 mark back in the 90's, when nobody wanted them because they were only £10 - £20, and common. Same thing with the Montclairs - Hung Up On Your Love, early 90's Pep had a box full of issues and demos in his shop £10 / £20. Martyn
  15. As I commented on your sales post Pete, given the choice of a record to spend £120 on from your list I would take the Al Wilson demo. I must admit that I am amazed at what folks pay for common records these days, especially as rarity has no bearing on price. Martyn
  16. Nice list Pete Al Wilson Help Me - £125 Satisfactions - £120 (and sold) amazing what a £10 record can fetch these days, the Al Wilson is great value Martyn
  17. Harry Following the link in your first post, it claims that 'Soultrain' was registered in 2005, if you have been using the name for the last 6 years and can prove it, your usage pre-dates his, so tell him to **** off . The other option is to rename them 'Old MacDonalds Soul Nights' Martyn
  18. Simon I have the full 2 week long 12" imported version .... tune .... maybe not 2 weeks, but it does go on a while Martyn
  19. Simon, nice one It would be bloody scary if Carol and I turned up dressed like that at the next one Martyn
