Chris try Pete Smith, he had one a bit back which I reserved to replace my VG copy, had to let him down on the deal due to being a bit skint, he may still have it think it was around fifty quid, great record both sides, been in my collection years still always did have an ear lol Regards - Mark Bicknell.

I think if you have been part of collecting rare soul records for any length of time once the bug bites it never seems to leave you, although I've been selling a few records in recent times in equal measure I've been buying as well, there is a plus side to the ever growing record mountain out there that you can be far more selective in what you collect and perhaps in some instances locate those elsusive wants wich in the past have proved almost impossible to find, the big ticket items are in most cases still very much at the summit of the moutain and command the big four figure sums however at the base of the mountain there is without question a vast ammount of records to chase and have fun with. How does it sound mediocre now after it turned up? if it's a quality record does it not sound the same be it rare or common? would challenge that Clara Hardy was not that good a record in the first place despite having it when there were maybe two or three known copies in the UK, more of a general point if copies of a decent tune turn up in my book it simply means that more people get a chance to own a copy, to suggest that a record all of a sudden becomes medicore because it's no longer rare or exclusive is a bit of a sweeping statement.
