Thanks to everyone who has requested a copy of the list, like I said it should be ready to send out by the end of this week, it will be a generic list sent to all interested parties as a group email so everyone will get it at the same time, level playing field and all that, again it is my intention to sell these records as a job lot/part collection and will not be selling individual records at this stage, best offer secures the lot simple as that, no cherry picking, the records are listed with a retail price guide and the asking price will be based on the collection total around 60% of the final total which seems to be about the going rate when selling to dealers, thanks again for the interest in this. From a DJ perspective I was at the top of my game late 80's early 90's and had some banging nights at Keele, a nothing record that went huge for me was Reggie Alexander - It's Better - Boss which started life as a cheapie I picked up from Ritchie Andrews in North Wales left it in the not sure box then started to play it, alway's ended my spot at Keele with it and it went massive, another one was Big Daddy Rogers - I'm A Big Man - Midas, a class venue which was alway's packed to the rafters. That's really shitty Phil, we have all dropped price bollocks over the years but that's the game, once a deal is struck it should be a done deal, how many of us can say oh I wished I'd have held out for a better price or I should have priced higher, with the market being what it is he should have been glad of a sale and supplied you with the record at the original asking price, still you'll never deal with him again will you.
