  1. Wow....again. That would grace any event for a couple of hours... Cheers Ed
  2. I sold a couple of 100 club anniversary singles about 18 months ago. What surprised me was ebay suggested a price based on previous sales. Clever stuff. So.....unless a seller is selling something uncommon, they should get a good idea of its likely worth. Conversely, a rare record may well slip through if sold by somebody not clued up. Ed
  3. Ha ha... If all goes well, I'm off to rife in a weeks time, and I will be sporting my xl Millers shirt several times during my stay. I'll leave the dee da do t shirt at home. Ed
  4. It really is a way of life for loads of people under normal circumstances. I know folks who bought motor homes so they could go away Friday to Sunday every possible weekend to venues and weekenders etc. Its the whole hog, including the uniform. I'm not knocking them, just pointing out the dedication if you like. It was more about the music for me. Did Butlitz once, never again. Ed
  5. I guess there's no more SOUL FREAKS left anymore then.... I used to see a lot of 30inch waists and 40inch bottoms.....now I see exactly the opposite! KTF does feature many times on here as members comment as an extension to their signing off....so its still alive and kicking. Soul patches, tee shirts, and even tea mugs all still for sale incorporating the three little words. Ed
  6. Superb mix. Builds up nicely. Syl Johnson always a pleasure to hear. Then the world column....I was 6 months too late to hear that played at cleggy pier...it must have been frantic when that got played. Ed
  7. No (dodgy) business like show business... There's a few tunes on big labels that appear super rare for no aparent reason. Ed
  8. Always told GAP was derived from..... Gay and Proud. Ed
  9. She had a great voice. RIP Then the drama of a troubled life. Almost scripted to go wrong. And as usual SOMEBODY is benefitting financially from her work. Ed
  10. I did not know such a thing existed...how cool was that! I did get a mint perception issue for 10 pence in junk shop around 78...as it was getting revived. Thanks for posting. Ed
  11. Cheers....I thought I'd gone a bit crazy.... Ed
  12. Just came up on a USB drive, and I can't put a title and artist to it. Ed post-1322-1143675677.mp3
  13. Very intense, a bit like girl in trouble the fawns...no doubt rare, but give me "imagine that" anyday. Ed

  18. The Cavaliers track dissapointment is more about it could have been so much better with a bit more effort i think. Joey D......Great singalonga tune......proper northern soul nonsense. Love it! Ed
  19. I now know all about popcorn. I agree, its as bad as it gets. No wonder its rare. Who would have bought that back in the day. Ed
  20. There's a long list of those, going back to the stones, beatles, lulu.....even Tom "the voice" Jones, and his chills and fever effort... Easy pickings. Ed
  21. Once again, superb choices....not heard loads of them in yonks. Couldnt sit still when that dream team played. Ed
