  1. When the 200 copies are desired by the 2000 collectors...so to speak, up goes the value. Not rare at Cleethorpes WG record bar, and often seen as a tongue in cheek tune. Dennis Dell, Spookie and Sue, type of thing. No different to sooooullll in the sun in my opinion Tommy Hunt. On the other hand Stop her on sight is superb, if overplayed. Ed
  2. Just got to say.... The lyrics are brilliant. Please listen to it intensely....in my experience a true reflection....not to upset anybody.....of "how it is"....just like my daddy told me. Ed
  3. Nice selection of original vinyl you have there. Don't give out your home address or car reg... Definately need a body guard when you are out and about dj ing with them:) Can't wait for the next 49.. Ed
  4. Poetic justice though....play Gwen Owens on a fancy dan stylus with just the right balance and pounds per square inch...pressure, and the flaw will make a great screech. Play it on a fidelity all things to all men easy on easy off arm...and it plays a treat! Good job they ironed out the flaw on the pressing:) Ed
  5. Biggest poppy I've ever seen! KCS. Ed
  6. I kid you not...I stayed at the Big Texan in Amarillo doing route 66 in 2018, and walked into the bar singing "is this the way to Amarillo" for the barmaid to sigh and say "not another one"..... Tony Christie a Conisbrough legend! Ed
  7. A good neet art in the smoke.. Highly recommended show and Beverly Knight just gets better and better. Ed
  8. Ojays I love music.....Bub at cleggy wg all dayers....oh to be there again.. Top tunes, thanks. Ed
  9. What a great list! Esquires superb harmony sound. Ed
  10. I think it more common than people think. I had a few Allplatinum, seventy seven, and Stang singles that weren't either the right track or artist. Ed
  11. Very nice mid tempo. New to me. Ed
  12. Should have been longer! Great choices. Ed
  13. Not heard Ebony Rythmn Campaign in a long time. Some fine tracks indeed. Ed
  14. I think it was always about risk and liability. There will be another tree or two planted further away from the wall. Ed
  15. Council decision... The wall was cracked and it older than the tree.. Ed
  16. The Sycamore or the wall had to go. Lots of wood for tonight. Ed
  17. Imagine your at the school prom back in the day in the USA, and this gets popped on the decks. Maybe your first introduction to the not yet termed Northern Soul. If this does not get you moving and grooving, nowt will! I'm guessing tons of these are stored in American lofts with the class of 65 year books. Ed
  18. Loving this. Stand out track Johnny Watson, and new to me. Ed
  19. 5000 copies! And the other version... Should be 100 notes, but its not:) Oh Lord what fool...dropping out of school. Ed
  20. RIP Sir Glad you knew of your fame and gratefulness in our world. Ed
  21. This is a great tune and done in a way that makes it sound like a new record altogether. Let's face it, the original is one of our crown jewels. Ed
