  10. Stevie Wonder playing the drums with full gusto. How talented is that fella? Those gospel girls are just the epitome of soul singing. Nice reference to the white New York Mayor. Totally agree with the thoughts of many attendees, what was the point in putting a man on the moon, when so much poverty was around. Ed

Working in Delhi 1995....not a lot to do on a weekend, unless your a culture vulture, but some hotels put a band on most Saturday nights for the ex pats....and low and behold this Filipino band comes out singing "More today than yesterday".....I could have fell off the bar stool. TSWONS...so to speak. Ed
  16. What a great tribute! Ed
  17. Assuming it was only the one or two lines you were given...not a song sample! Years ago, a mate of mine was unconscious for a few minutes after accidentally falling out of a moving minibus back door. When he came round he was singing 'gonna be a big thing' perfectly....but could not recall the accident at all. The memory has its own rules! Ed
  18. Well....I did not see it on the list, but I'm sure he also played Tears Lee Roye on a nighttime show....and described it as dire, or something along those lines...other classics were from Alien Sex Fiend....you can't get more diverse than that:) Ed

  21. Heard John Peel play Margaret Mandolph one Sunday afternoon on his BBC radio show. He did play some random stuff. Wonder if it was a real copy. Ronnie & Robyn... absolute monster back in the day. So atmospheric. Quite cheap I think at todays prices for such a big old tune. Ed

  23. Baxter returned to find his favourite "pee tree" has gone...and decided to be the Lion King. Ed
  24. Interesting that cutting a master is the opposite of cutting a disc! 6/1000 of an inch......take me back to my apprenticeship. That would have been a fine margin. These days they split that by a 1000. Ed
  25. Wow...what a mix...no getting bored here. Cookie Jackson and Billy Harner quite sublime. Ed
