  12. A lovely mint copy of Bobby Lee Fears turned up, previously never played...I played it the once, tried to pop out the adaptor afterwards and....CRACK!!! crack all the way through right across the feckin thing. FFS Jim.

  16. I don't know alot, but I know the G4 would have sat very well in the box in the Potteries! Wonderful record, loved it for so long. A good price for a REAL rarity.

  18. I remember a guesting dj at the Orwell with a t shirt that had the universal logo of a tent and underneath the legend 'MUSIC'. ...twas a real trendy catchphrase for a while...

I always thought the problem was that some djs just ' overdid' the R and B thang. ie? a whole hours spot! ..and this went on for some considerable time (as in years) Surely the point if your spinning at a SOUL night is to play a broad spectrum of sounds in your allocated hours spot. This overkill is really what stopped me going to Northern dos, I just got sick of it, and I'm Blues fan as well!
