Didn't even know classical records fetched big money, I've got a stack 30 ish , Mozart to Gershwin that my music teacher gave me to listen to in 81 for my music o level, said I could have them, I've never listened to them since or even looked at them. I think a night doing a bit of investigating is in order, might have something valuable, who knows?

Great label from Ohio, I have about 8 singles on this label and all play great, all are easily obtainable and relatively cheapish apart from kook blues- can we try love again £250 ish maybe more on a good day, good one to get is Marion black - who knows, a finger snapping cool number. numero uno also done a compilation LP called ?.?, can't remember sorry, atb phil

Very sad, never knew him personally but corresponded with him a few times on SS and bought a few records off him, condolences to his family and friends, from what I've read he seemed a top guy...R.I.P

Yes mate I think it is, it's got all the fold out bits ect with an extra fold out with sleeve notes, actually bought this for my son but it's a great album and new to my ears, I have seen a few originals but the sleeves were knackered, not surprised though cos they are very flimsy.. Phil

Just got back from Static Records in Wigan and nice to see great support for a small independent , I got there at 7:30 am this morning and already about 20 people queuing, I went for the Sandra wright album, Linda jones and a small faces concept album, got all 3, phew, first time that's happened, I much prefer the smaller shops, went Piccadilly records last year, queued for 3 hours and got 3out of 8 I wanted, they was queuing up there from dinner time yesterday, anyway the Sandra wright album is just a masterpiece, listening to it right now and it's giving goosebumps, going back to wigan this afternoon to listen to some local bands support RSD then off to stateside soul club in Ashton tonight, the suns out, every bodies happy, God I just love days like this....happy soulin'.....phil

Fantastic album, every track a great piece of soul., Vinyl is excellent with just a few wispy hairlines, it plays through beautifully with no pops or crackles.. The sleeve has a drill hole bottom right( see photo) and I would grade this vg++, it also has original smash insert. asking £100 inc special delivery and paypal fees. pm for details. ON HOLD

Hi jack, superfl in Manchester have some great deals on at the minute, I went to by an amp on Monday which they didn't have in stock but gave me a Denon PMA-520AE for £119 which was reduced from £179 to £129, I just asked could they do a better price, works great with my warfdale speakers and audio technica AT120 turntable.... I paid 275 for one last year , I would have paid more, so I was quite pleased, I have seen them cheaper and dearer, an all time want that coincided with it for sale and me having the dosh.. Great great tune that really goes well with lew kirton... Phil
