Got to say, my wife is a soul widow, when we first met in 1990 we used to go bradford every fortnight without fail, but i,d be in the main room while she was downstairs in the funky room, i,d been into northern for about 10 years then and she had this idea that she'd get me "off" it and start to lead a normal life , ha ha.we even had barry may for our DJ, 19years later, she's still trying, there is not single day goes by where i am not searchin, buying, selling(not so much) soul music, and i just love it ..i,ve even been threatened with a divorce once, although i think she was joking ..have to say though the kids love it too, especially my daughter, and they all know not to touch dads vinyl. i only get out about once a month these days, sometimes on my own sometimes with my brother, none of my mates are into it and think i'm tapped paying this and that for a little peice of plastic and to be honest my missus thinks all records cost between £10-£20 , ooh is that bad, anyway soulie till the day i die.....northern soul, its my passion not a fashion....phil
