well auction ended and no-one bought it, i wonder why , i asked him ,politely, why he was selling for 5k, and he replied, cos its a demo and there's none on ebay, he's now reduced price cos no-one has any money, the heading is also misleading as he says its now for the haiti disaster fund(admirable), but in fact its 10% of final listing price , anyway here's the link with new revised starting price....... https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160396355592

hi guys, the reason i asked the question in the first place was a question posted on a youtube vid i did of this track, now the lady who asked the question was more interested in one of the session musicians who played on it, a guy called eddied hazel, who was born in 1950, now she seems to think he was about 15 when he recorded JO, and that he went onto play in funkadelic btween 1967-70,so JO recorded between 65-67..maybe...lol

can anybody tell me the release date for this 45 please and also what connection does eddie hazel (funkadelic) have with the group, ie, i was told he was a session musician on the track, in fact any info would be gratefully appreciated....thanks in advance...phil

Two books for essential reading The In Crowd by Mike Ritson & Stuart Russell Central 1179 (the story of the twisted wheel) by keith rylatt and phil scot.........very hard to find though, expect to pay between £50-£100
