for me tammi terrell is the best by far, remember hearing it for the 1st time on richard searling show before smooth and jazz fm..? and it just got me, stopped me in my tracks, wow , bam ...loved it ever since, gonna have to check out the randy crawford version though and have a listen...phil

totally agree, since this thread started i,ve been listening to all my edwin material, couple of tracks he did on Granite, forgot i had, i,ll never forget you, and beginning, two great tracks and a long way from his ric tic / gordy days, just shows the diversity of the man........great thread btw

these bought from a car boot in horwich, near bolton last year marcia hines-wizard, the one with gotta let go 50p delfonics-let it be me-sounds superb-50p billy preston-greazee soul-£1.00 i then found this woman selling tamla/gordy/soul all at 50p each, i offered her a tenner for the lot, there was at least 30 records and none had sleeves but in amongst them was 7 records on action,inc al tnt braggs,carl carlton and jeanette williams, took them home , cleaned them up and every one played great...what a great day, for me anyway, .......my wife just thought i was sad.....

i agree with above post, you clearly stated in the discription that it was a reissue, i saw it straight away, ebay clearly states that winning bidders enter into a contract andif they dont pay then a nonpaying strike will be put against there name....good luck anyway:thumbsup:
