didn't know about the two different issue numbers, so the 3024 is 1975 and the 3002 is 1972, this chap has one for sale ,3024 but dated 1972, £65 a bit steep me thinks LOOK

i,ve bought 4 x 45's this week from u.s , postage ranging from $6.49- $18, i think they pluck an amount from the sky sometimes, or is it different from state to state?

keele was great for me, having been in the army from 82-91, my last few years in the forces was based in UK, cambridge , and keele always seemed to be on when i had a weekend off, went a few times in '88 and '89, then on and off thru the 90's, tunes i remember from them earlier days are sam dees-lonely for you baby, sammy ambrose-welcome to dreamsville, heard bobby bland-yum yum tree for the first time at keele, the record bar was the business, got a few in there, bobby sheen,for below zero,charades, ac reed, took them back to camp and some twat from blackpool broke into my locker nicked the lot, couldn't prove it but i knew it was him...needless to say he could only slurp soup for a few days

for me tammi terrell is the best by far, remember hearing it for the 1st time on richard searling show before smooth and jazz fm..? and it just got me, stopped me in my tracks, wow , bam ...loved it ever since, gonna have to check out the randy crawford version though and have a listen...phil

i,ve had two in the last momth, Alice clark LP and lee brackett- ruby/save a foolish man, i,m tempted sometimes but i,ve never bought the record, you just know its been a fake bid to bump up the price,

totally agree, since this thread started i,ve been listening to all my edwin material, couple of tracks he did on Granite, forgot i had, i,ll never forget you, and beginning, two great tracks and a long way from his ric tic / gordy days, just shows the diversity of the man........great thread btw

in my daughters college its a fashion item, loads of northern soul / wigan casino / keep the faith bags and t-shirts but like you say most of them dont no what it is , my dughter does cos she's been brought up on soul music and knows what its all about and wont have one cos she knows i'll take the p**s,.
