Hi al, went to a modern soul do few weeks back and heard a george benson track, sounds a bit like brightest star by stevie wonder, really uplifting funky number late 70's ,early 80's, but just cannot recall the title or remember the tune(until i hear it)...not much to go on i know but anybody got any suggestions, i dont think it was one of his hits, maybe an album track only, anyway any help would be appreciated...atb phil

i put links to youtube on all of my e-bay sales, most of the time its of the actual record and if its not then i will tell them in listing, i just think its a lot easier and quicker than uploading tracks to ebay or other sites, i've been doing this for about 2 years now and never had any comeback from ebay or youtube, i started putting a link on youtube to my ebay site, i got a "strike" for that so dont do it anymore. phil

oooh bet that was great, would loved to have seen her, not seen many over the years , saw edwin starr at the parr hall in warrington , very early 80's and also there was the RIC-TIC revue, saw richard opcorn wylie at the wirrana, think it was same year as edwin, both great gigs

top tune from a great label, "you cant blame me" is the best side though, imo, £15-£20 will get you a copy, there's a few on ebay right now

i was bidding on the craig moerer copy but it got to high for me, i know theres a 12" version with instrumental on flip but been told this is a boot, any body know if this is correct?

David vance-be mine again (TORCH) nice mid tempo number, him and his friend formed the label to release this one record, recorded it overnight in a studio in miami( it was cheaper that way) pressed about 200 but it had no local success at all, he's now an artist iving / working in miami and when i emailed him he was so surprised that his record was being played in a 3 bed semi in wigan, lol, he'd forgotton all about it then told me all about how he had flu recording it and had to sleep on studio floor and had to record in one take, good story...atb phil
