according to Manship it's blue label with silver lettering with a white logo is the reissue so i guess if there is no white on your label it's an original.

In Aberdeen we moved to a new venue in April. It only opened it's doors in Feb and i'd known the owner for a number of years due to him also owning a second hand record shop. He asked us to move our soul nites to his venue saying he'd be able to add another 50 people to our attendance stating that the younger crowd wouldn't go to our last venue as it wasn't the 'in' place to go for a 20 year old. He actually underestimated how much would turn up as we had 220 through the door and another 60 or 70 who couldn't get in. Prob only bout 80 people of that were regulars at our last venue so the rest was made up of mainly 20 to 30 year olds and for me it created a great night as they filled the dancefloor all night. The owner said he hadn;t had as much feedback from his regulars as he had had that night saying it was the best night they'd had in ages. Our next one is next week and if it's half as good as the last one then i'll be happy. Time will tell if they keep coming back< i've got my fingers crossed that they do.

Yeah the original does have facial features if you could call it that. Bought my copy bout 6 years ago described as a vg. Jesus when i got it Torville and Dean had been doing their best spins on it.

We had Kenny up for our first night at the Tunnels and he played a blinder that night. We also asked keith he couldn't manage we asked him for this month he can't manage, June he can't manage, July he can't manage, aug he can't manage, sept soul night he can't manage but the all dayer in sept he can manage,Oct he can't manage Nov he can't manage and Dec guess what he can't manage. we'll def have Kenny up again this year if he can manage. So we give these guys the oppurtunity but with keith working offshore he's only home 2 sats of the month.

Why the guy should read this before he sells his records. Why records are better than women. You don't have to take your records shopping. You don't have to have foreplay for an hour with a record. You don't have to give a record a cuddle after you've had your 3 minutes pleasure with it. Your records won't moan when you snore in bed. Your records won't be upset when you watch footy instead. Your records don't complain when you buy another record. Your records don't threaten to stab you, coz they don't get pmt. You can play your records any time of the month, they don't need a week off coz the painters are in the lobby. And when you have a night in what would you prefer a night listening to records or listening to the wife.

Just heard from a mate that his mate has just spent £300 on records in the last week, when asked how many originals he got for that his reply was 'none', now people have a right to spend their money any way they like but there are so many originals out there that are brill which you can find for less than a boot costs these days. Now because most people have access to the internet there are loads of stuff out there. We have the biggest record shop at our fingertips. It's just a case of trawling through the 'boxes' Over the last year i've had some great bargains as well in the £100+ stuff and i'm sure most people on here are the same. had a few mp3's on my pc then it crashed so lost the lot. Back them up if you don't want to get caught out and now with ktf gone prob won't get some back.

Of the current soul nights, when you've got the UK's top dj saying he can't believe how good Aberdeen is ie crowd and music policy and that he'll dj anytime then thats good enough for me and thats before we moved to our new venue, which is far better than the last place.
