You might be struggling there Andy, I believe he's in Phoenix Arizona. I've e-mailed him a few times but never had a reply, bit of an enigma to me. Agree with previous sentiments, it would be a massive blow to me if it went.

Met up to go to Wigan one night and there were 6 of us and a ford escort, one of the lads went there and back in the boot! ( about 5 hours in total )

Carl ( Piper ) is from Mansfield and runs a local soul night at Kingsway Hall in Forest Town, hes about 47ish but is as fit now as he was when he was 18!

Having read these libellous comments all I can say is that they're all true, or near enough to be thrown out of a court of law just in case I decide to sue. It might be worth it just to get enough cash for my next ticket to wherever. I decided to go to Cleethorpes at the last minute last week, and using the same resourcefulness that's allowed me to venture North and South by bus/train links since Adam was a lad, I arrived at the venue 'round midnite. It's a great way to travel and if I hadn't done so I wouldn't have met so many of you...wonderful people out there in the dark! tbc... gc

Went to Wigan with Garry for the first time in 78 ( you as well Rob, remember? ) Been good mates & kept in touch ever since, even when he moved to Canterbury cos my mother in law lives down there. I've never met anyone who knows as many people, has travelled as many miles on public transport or who has been as consistently hardcore on the scene over the last 30 years! Top lad - definately an icon of the scene in my eyes.

If he gets there in time Rob Dont know about a diary though everythings in his head, when I told him about a photo of him on here that Jon Buck had put up ( taken at Wigan in 79 ) he said " Oh yeah I remember that being taken" !
