  3. Check out the other side " Are you trying to get rid of me baby " - Quality Been playing it at the Attic for a bit
  4. I'm not getting involved in this argument but as the Attic keeps getting mentioned ( on this and other similar threads ) I'd just like to say we arent breaking loads of new sounds that no one knows - we try play some of the thousands of records that are mainly overlooked or ignored. These records are mainly from the 60s with some early 70s, some are up tempo, some are mid tempo. Have a look at some of the playlists and if you dont know some of them track a soundfile down (easy with a computer) and have a listen, you might actually like it. A lot are similar to the traditional northern sound ( which I still love by the way ) Its not rocket science - ITS JUST GOOD SOUL MUSIC We do also play some records that might be called "oldies" as well PS the Attic is definately NOT an across the board venue

  6. Been thinking this myself recently, the overplayed oldies brigade get a lot of criticism on here but nobody mentions the fact that some of the top line DJs have been playing the same set for a long time. Surely some of these tunes need a rest by now

  12. I'd start the M Williams at £3 and describe it as a reissue/2nd isssue/pressing. Yes boots and pressings are the same thing ie illegal releases ( its all very confusing I know ) The others look OK to me
  13. You'd be lucky to get anywhere near 20, I've been selling alot of pressings recently, my Maurice Williams went for £6.50 in decent nick
  14. this is absolutely right, anyone with any sense will sell up pretty soon before the value crashes - think of all that money down the drain, SELL SELL SELL
  15. Ex condition - £10 £1.50 recorded £2 Europe Paypal or cheque Cheers
  16. Very witty Pete, so is an orange one a 70s reissue then? The reason I'm confused is that in JM's price guide the yellow and orange are both valued at £75. I would have thought a reissue would be much lower?
  17. Whats the difference between the orange and yellow Epic issues of this?
  18. Big favourite of mine late Wigan days, i remember a lad there with it embroidered onto his trousers - anyone recall this?
  19. Despicable behaviour - if you've got proof name and shame so every right minded person can avoid the venue in question
  20. Anyone know what they are?
  21. If I'm guessing your location correctly from your username there's a venue not too far away I could recommend renowned for being friendly as well
  22. Its not, bought one for £11 about 6 months ago
