What Are The Current Big Spins Of The Moment?
Butch's Mighty Lovers c/u is the tune of the moment for me personally Also have enjoyed Rudy Love - Sufferin Wrath over the last few years plus others too numerous to mention at places like Burnley & Lifeline. Also think the Tommy Dent track could be big if a UK DJ got a hold of one (anyone know who won the one on JM auction?)

Motowntommy (aka various new names eg sandi's post) after being brave enough to come on here calling some good people pricks, tossers etc aren't you going to reply to the storm you've caused? You must have been back on to see what the response was?

The Majestics - I Love Her So Much It Hurts Me - Linda
Might have been a bit later than that mate. I've got a tape that rob mariot did me after I'd stopped going to Wigan - his comment on the listing which I've still got is "massive at the moment- D.Evison" The last time I went was Sep 79 so the tape was done maybe early 1980? Heard the story about it being given to Evison to play so not sure if the record was Rob's or Chris's - they were both living at home at the time so Rob could have taped some of Chris's records as well as his own
-
James Dockery - My Faith In You Is All Gone
Suprised to hear this was played at the mecca? Surely it wasnt widely known by the masses then though? First heard it in the 90s on a tape entitled "big sounds from 86" courtesy of Garrrry Churm. Other tracks on the tape are Cairos, AC Poston,Brilliant Korners, Utopias,Jo Jo Petite, terry Goodnight etc Andy Dyson has been playing it quite a bit over the last couple of years at Lifeline, Burnley etc (after being requested by me) Its one of those that I could never get fed up with and would definately make my all time top 10
