Tony Jebb (Golden Torch/Blackpool Mecca Dj)
Didn't know Tony as I'm way too young to have gone to the mecca in its hey-day or the torch (honest) But his is a name I grew up knowing along with all the other legends of the time. All the best to him and thanks for blaizing the trail for the rest of us to follow

Demand Pressings
How many titles were pressed on this label? Chandlers, General assembly etc Any other info? who did em, when (seem to remember buying the chandlers around 79) Also when pressings were mainly done to look like US releases, why were certain ones done UK style? Any info appreciated

John Anderson's Soul Junction Does It Again, Hopkins Bros
You're probably right Simon, it could have done with a while longer I suppose but it is becoming a tad overplayed now Still I'll be buying one, I wonder if this will become accepted by the masses?

Skiing In The Snow.. How Long Did It Last
Same for me Pete, I think we're the same age. I've still got my copy of this (only because I couldnt sell it if I tried) and would have danced to it aged 14 - there I've admitted it ( Hope you wont view me in a different light now Steve ) Also still got the Bo Donaldson which I bought back then

Your Favourite Lyrics?
I've always liked the bit in Heart Trouble when the plumber tells him the water on his floor isnt from a leaking sink but from his tears!
-

The Chantels
I think so Bob, the black magic label issued a load of tailor made ( and other dodgy) stuff in the mid 70s to cash in on the Northern scene at its height. I'm sure Pete Smith will have more detail on this particular one
