Last week a Del-Rays pressing went for over £400, it was clearly described as not original...... unbelievable

I just don't think the numbers will be there to replace us old uns. Fewer collectors will mean less demand and inevitably lower prices

So in 20 years time when a lot of us are dead and the others have one foot in, where will the demand come from to keep prices high?

Thanks for the replies everyone, evidence appears inconclusive really. As fingers says above Manships old bootleg guide has a vinyl copy as non original and Tim Browns guide says the same thing. However Manships price guides 5 & 7 don't say anything about bootleg details but the price in both is in bold type which usually indicates its been booted. So who knows ? Maybe its one that no-one really knows 100%...........

Pink revilot 201 - Whats the score with bootlegs of this? I was under the impression that originals were styrene with stamped ZTSC matrix? Just bought one described as guaranteed original but its vinyl with scratched matrix....

One thing Ive learnt in recent times is that your memories arent necessarily accurate, even if you think they are. Some will be but some won't, I think everyone our age ought to realise this......

Ive seen many people comment about this situation over the years saying words to the effect - "when all the tourists have lost interest and disappeared then the scene can go back to being underground" Wishful thinking I'm afraid, they aint going nowhere........
