  1. You've got Sam into trouble now, stop dreaming
  2. No Pete the only way you'll hear this in full is to go somewhere where Butch is on. Unbelievable record as byrney and others have said!
  3. Great logic there, thats nearly as good as the seller who sold me a record that had been skated on - he then went on to explain to me that he'd listed it as M- because all the other copies he'd seen had been even worse. Apologies to the thread starter, great record hope you get one for a "good" price
  4. John Aldridge did one of the best spots I've heard in recent times at rugby (freestyle room) Book him Danno

Saw the trailer for it, the whole f/ing bunch of muppets should be sacked just based on what that shows you
  6. The old "underplayed" topic raises its head again Good to discuss but I'm afraid nothing will ever change Had forgotten all about Little Edith BTW one of many lurking in the darker recesses awaiting a prompt from someone

  9. Yep, Malibus was a good looking one!
  10. The other side of Its Its Whats Underneath That Counts - credited as June Jackson but is actually Anita May ( of the Bootleggers ) brilliant!
  11. The other side of Who You Gonna Turn To - brilliant!
  12. The other side of Love, Friends & Money - brilliant!
  13. Yep, something you taught me a long time ago
  14. So true

After reading this thread I've just had to play the youtube clip to see if I was losing the plot and I'm relieved to say I'm not. Great record, especially about 4 in the morning
  19. Yep
  20. I've got it, let me know if you still need it
  21. If you play grade a record and describe it as VG, VG+, Ex, Ex+, M- etc without taking account of the visual - how can you tell the difference between those grades? To me a record either plays well or it doesn't Can anyone tell the difference between a VG+ and an Ex grade by listening? Must have better hearing than me
  22. The grey area about visual and play grades is a problem. To me a grading is visual and if it plays any different to the visual grade then it should be stated. Also one factor that never gets mentioned is the light which you are looking at the record in. The room I use has a light fitting with 3x50 watt bulbs which shows up any flaws, take record with scratches on into another room with ordinary bulbs and it can look mint

  24. Issue sorted now, thanks for all the comments
  25. Got in touch with the seller, apparently he thinks its ok to post without stiffeners as the record was in a strong card sleeve So the fault is with some "hoof fisted postie" as he put it
