  1. Didnt see that discussion Derek but she did do more than one on Dee Dee. Mark
  2. Hi Steve Thanks for that. Not looking to sell it was just curious. I think both sides are very good. Mark
  3. Been checking through some boxes from years ago and found several bits including Valerie Lamar - I Don't Your Lovin/Gotta Get Away on Dee Dee. Can't remember having seen this listed and wondered if anyone had any idea on value etc. Thanks
  4. I have got a spare copy (knew there was a reason, I took the wife) of the following 100 club anniversary singles: Johnnie Taylor/ Judy Clay Garland Green/Junior McCants M&M and the Peanuts/The Charmaines I'm looking to trade for any other 100 Club singles especially the Peggy Gaines or The Magicians. I'm NOT LOOKING TO SELL THEM. Any interest please email me off forum at mormar44@btopenworld.com Cheers Mark
  5. Good record, worth a spin. I've found copies of this on 3 different labels: Pride, United Artists and Jupiter.
  6. Just doing my weekly search on Ebay and searching for Richard Caiton came up with this. Some great stuff on it but its a boot isn't it? https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW
  7. I thought this was a new KRL bad marketing idea but on closer inspection it looks like being a great weekend. A great DJ lineup and cheap flights via Ryanair into Hamburg - Lubeck. If I can make it will deff be giving it a try.
  8. Don't know about the catalogue number being the same as The Sapians but the closeness of the numbers on the scan is due to there being a slight bubble under the label where the ridge is. On the Foolish Dreamer side they are evenly spaced.
  9. Hopefully this works for the scan, I'll need help to put a sound file up!!
  10. I picked up an issue about 8 years ago. The issue has Life saver c/w Foolish Dreamer on the B side. I played it out a couple of times without much reaction at the time. Can post a scan or sound file if someone tells me how......lol!!
  11. Shaun Turner had one (think he paid $200 for it) until he sold his last collection about 5 or 6 years ago. Think it was his that Kenny bought and I remember Andy Rix bought his Lestor Tipton also. I'd have rather (I think?) had the Ward Burton which is brilliant. Have searched long and hard for a copy, get offered the other one loads but never "sweet temptation"
  12. Not sure if its already been noted but have just been on the bay and hes removed all his items from sale!!
  13. Think the only boots were on OOTP as already been stated. Not to difficult to find a copy on Ruby or U.A anywhere between £20 -£30. Still a good record IMO.
  14. Had to track down a copy of The Flirtations - Change my darkness into light -Josie for someone who wanted it played at their wedding.
  15. Visited the Stafford Soul night for the 1st time and after a slow start ended up having a brilliant night. When we first got there it was looking "iffy" but Shute and Carl both played brilliant interesting spots and the atmosphere was great. People were really friendly and I will certainly be going again. Thanks lads.
  16. We all know there has always been a certain amount of pinching of records on the scene and the only thing that i know for certain is that whenever one of the thieving bastards has been named they have disapeared fast from the scene. So as long as we know who they definately are name and shame them every time. I know as a collector for many years (?) that my good name is worth more than the value of any record.
