  5. I know Pat Munroe. Last time I spoke to him was two years ago at a Bisley Pavilion Northern Soul night. He now goes to the soul club in Ascot.
  6. I occasionally went to Pantiles in the early 70's but did not like the music. Originally from Camberley, my friends and I (or on my own) went to the commercial and non commercial soul music clubs around the area during the early/mid 1970's: Bisley Pavilion; Aldershot -Buxted Chicken Factory; Camberley-Agincourt, Shades of Green, Banners/Cambridge Hotel, Hawley Hotel; Farnborough-Town Hall, Queens Hotel, Blue Moon, Big C. Tumbledown Dick; Fleet-Town Hall, Silver Park Club, Fleet Country Club. I also used to go to Reading Top Rank (Night Owl), Farnham-Harveys; Woking-Atlanta; Richmond-Cheeky Pete's; Egham-Francos; Guildford-Annabellas/Cinderellas, Windsor Safari Park Club, plus the club under Bracknell carpark - Dawbourne's (I think). During the early 70's the Agincourt used to hold a Northern Soul night every Thursday. At most of the non commercial soul clubs you could order and buy all your Soul & American Import records off the DJ's. You could get the coach organised by Derek to Wigan Casino from outside the Tumbledown Dick.
