Got to be Selecta Disc on Arkwright St Nottm for me. The musty smell of old reords as you went down stairs to be greeted by Mr Alan Day and a six foot poster on the back door of a beautiful naked lady backed with psychodelic circles. 1000's of tunes no one wanted because they wanted the pressings. Also R.E .CORDS in Derby run by an old freind Hector one of the freindliest guys on the scene

Bit of a sticky wicket is this one, I have been to soulnights were old soul mums and dads have tagged there nippers along (even been when theres been a dance comp for them!!!!!!!!!). Then on the other hand I've been to Allbrighton and seen some for the best dancing done by youngsters .So as a owd 50something I'll just sit on the fence and watch the little brats do what I used to do 35 years ago
