  1. Both a bit modern for me, so decided to sell if anyone wants 'em. Sam Dees - The Show Must Go On - 1975 Atlantic LP. £30 - I grade it around VG cos it does have a few light scratches that can be heard, but not bad, the Cover is around VG+ (No edge splits) Natural Four - Natural Four - 1974 Curtom Canada LP = £30 - around VG+ (No edge splits) Make me an offer by pm for the 2 if you like. Best Dave
  2. Thanks Dave. Well it looks like I've been living a lie for 28 years then. You tell me that one of only a few live bands (pub bands excepted) I've seen in my life were fakes. I've seen the Christians, UB40, M People, Squeeze, all of which I was dragged along to by friends. I've seen mainly fake Drifters and Platters (probably fake Showstoppers) Nobody can tell me Bobby Taylor, Kim Weston and Yvonne Vernee were fakes though Best Dave.
  3. Saw the Showstoppers live at a friends 18th Birthday Party, which was a coach trip to Park Hall at Charnock Richard in Lancs. Must of been 1979, I knew Houseparty, and seem to remember them playing loads of covers, but it was a good nite and they went down well. Anyone else see 'em ?
  4. Oops, should of searched first, v sorry, and thans for the link Simon. Best Dave.
  5. I was given this record back in the 70's by an old mate. I reckon it's time I found out if it's pedigree I've always thought it to be a boot, that's probably why he gave it me (cynical I know), just that JM's guide isn't too clear on it. Mine has the letters LW then B.F and an A scratched in the run outs, but anyone could of done them. It has a dip toward the center but not a sharp dip. I wouldn't call the run out pitted though but I wouldn't describe the vinyl in general as perfect either. Could somebody help please Best Dave.
