  1. Craig, Chalky's down the NIA with the Four Tops tonite, then he's over Warwick helping me out big style as usual tomorrow, then he's compering the charity night with the Girlies at the Hollybush Saturday The Guy gives the scene everything and it's great to see him get a bit of recognition for it, on here, in the press, and from the lucky ones who know him. Sue also deserves a big mention, her support for this Soul madman is amazing
  2. All 3 in excellent condition. Fi-Dels - Try A Little Harder - Keymen issue - sold Roy Hamilton - The Panic Is On - MGM demo - stol - sold Laura Greene - Moonlight Music In You - RCA demo - sold Sold within a few minutes, thanks for looking. Best Dave
  3. Steve, yes VIRTUE is there on all of my Arctic issues, no sign of any penguins though.
  4. Very small ? and next to the A VOL 5 ?
  5. Sorry mate, another miss-read, I never said or suggested which I thought was original or which was reissue. I think you could be right with the ink level thing and personally I think both are original, till someone proves otherwise. The sky blue with the IT mark was bought as an original from gold soul and I believe it to be out of Kev Roberts DJ box.
  6. What I tried to say is the IT mark is present on the sky blue issue as opposed to the paler issue. The scratchings look as they were done by the same hand on both, so I'm not totally convinced the pale one is a reissue. Storm Warning on the sky blue does not have the IT, neither does my sky blue issue of Barbara Mason Bobby Is My Baby.
  7. Anyone else got a copy of this Dutch release ???
  8. The only difference between the 2 laws of love is that 1 looks as though it's faded in sunlight, the scratchings in the deadwax are almost the same except for a very tiny 'IT' on it's side just before 'A VOL 5 A'. This is missing from both B sides, and from the A (vocal) of the paler laws of love issue.
  9. Fantastic Chalky, and a brilliant plug for Warwick Soul Club Many thanks, hope you have a good nite at the Connaught tonite, and very much look forward to seeing you both tomorrow. Best Dave
  10. Jackie Edwards - Put Your tears Away Jackie Wilson - Higher and Higher & Whispers LP's both great and cheap. Tammi Terrell - Irresistible.
  11. Looks like an Oldie DJ has lost the plot to me, bored or whatever See ya at Rugby mate Best Dave
  12. You are defo allowed to play it at the next Warwick, nice one luv
  13. You at the Connaught tomorrow Pete, be great to see you ? Best Dave.
  14. I don't think it's Dusty, haven't tampered with speeds though. Similar sounding voice must admit, and a great voice, but deeper than Dusty. Also similar flaws that that somtimes slightly of key, which I dont mind personally. For me Dusty was great, so is this, whoever it is. Love it, thanks for the thread. Best Dave
  15. Pretty sure all the the Arctic issues were pale blue background with dark blue letters. So white label with dark blue letters or light blue background with black letters is either boot or second issue. The only thing I've seen that may contradict this theory is a picture of a Honey & Bees picture in a price guide which has pale blue background with blaclk letters, Having said all that Storm Warning is great, and like you say easy to get hold of in the States and I shouldn't expect anyone o be flying over to convict you of selling a non-original, lol. Best Dave
  16. Hi Mate, John Manship has an issue and the demo fro you to pick from https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/searchartist....+DEE&Format= Best Dave.
  17. Walter Jackson - Let Me Come Back / It Doesn't Take Much - Brunswick 55502 = £80 label slightly offset, and a few tiny marks seen in scan. Vinyl NM and plays perfect. Prob VG++/EX overall also, Garland Green - Jealous Kind Of Fellow - Uni 55143 = £20 Ex. P&P £1.50 first class, recorded or insured at cost. Thanks for looking Best Dave.
