  1. I got mine from you (though not through Soul Source), Thanks! Rookie did well with his ebay auction too. Now I wish I had bought two!
  2. Well, a fair number of regular customers are now enjoying themselves at the ModChicago weekender, so I may regret not putting the list off for another week, but maybe these wrenches in my usually well oiled engine (ha!) will be to your benefit. So without further adieu, https://www.georgiasoul.com/sales_list.html As always, I hope you find something you'd like, and happy record hunting. Thanks for all of your past business!
  3. None taken, Martin. I see a Mint copy went towards the end of December on ebay for $86, so I guess my $85 really wasn't any bargain at this point after all. £40 is still about $70 here. If anyone wants it for that, then lemme know.
  4. So did I totally blow the price on this one? I thought I was undercutting the book price enough to move this, but apparently not?
  5. Nolan Porter - If I Could Only Be Sure / Work It Out In the Morning (ABC 11343) $85 in factory sleeve The rest of my current list is now available on my web page, https://www.georgiasoul.com/sales_list.html
  6. Both copies are now sold (or at least will be as of Sunday). Thanks to all who expressed interest.
  7. 2nd copy now on hold. Waiting to find out if the first person who asked is still interested....sit tight and thanks for the interest. Dave - that *is* interesting! All copies i've seen have had the design which I posted. the copy remaining in my collection came from a different source than the two I've offered today. All three have originated from sources in Georgia, just as an FYI.
  8. One copy sold, one still available.
  9. Sweet midtempo sounds produced by Calvin Arnold, recorded in Atlanta GA. Probably a one-time house band at an old club in Atlanta called the Pendulum. Two copies available in stone MINT condition. $75 each The Pendulum Swingers - Never Should Have Loved You Baby / Never Happened Before
  10. Kevin - Yes, check your email. I entered my web site URL in incorrectly before? Weird. Well thanks for fixing it, anyway!
  11. Hi gang! I'm pleased to announce the arrival of my 38th set sale list! I spent February focused on ebay sales to auction some sounds which I don't normally feature on my lists, but this one still has a few oddball titles and curious records. Remember that if I haven't provided a sound file and there's something you want to hear, all you have to do is ask. I can make a real audio file or arrange a time for you to call me on the phone to hear anything. As always, you can find the list at this URL: https://www.georgiasoul.com/sales_list.html There are three records on this list for which I just couldn't come up with a set price, and they are listed as "OFFERS". They are: The After Hours - I Don't Wanna Cry / I Don't Wanna Cry (Condor 201) EX DJ The Berkshire Seven - I've Tried / Crazy Kind of Feeling (Stop 286) EX Ronnie and the Ramblers - Woman of Mine / Crow Calypso (R and R 9229) VG+ My intent is not to be obteuse or mysterious - it's just that I don't know what they go for! Just make an offer, and if it sounds reasonable, I'll take it. I'm actually quite fond of the Ronnie & the Ramblers single, so that might be a little tougher to talk me out of - just so you know up front. I'll take offers for about a week or so and if not sold, list The After Hours and The Berkshire Seven on ebay. If not sold, I'll probably keep Ronnie & the Ramblers in my collection. (Link fixed - Rachel)

  13. Old stock page overhaul to be updated tonight, here's the new list. https://www.georgiasoul.com/sales_list.html 120 records this time, and don't forget that I currently have 30 more 45s up on ebay right now. https://members.ebay.com/aboutme/urbanistop/
  14. https://www.georgiasoul.com/sales_list.html 144 soul/funk/r&b singles at reasonable prices (I hope)
  15. There's a promo pressing of the Lenis Guess single with a slow and a more up-tempo version of "Working For My Baby". However, neither is as fast as the sound file posted previously. Surely that's a WAY pitched up recording.
  16. Picked up a Benny Sigler on Phil LA of Soul recently, thinking about selling it. As far as I can tell it is an original (it was in a small collection I bought, which is excessively light on reissues) but before I embarrass myself, I'd like to know how to tell the two apart, since I've never seen the reissue. If mine turns out to be original, it's also for sale.....
  17. Well, after languishing in my collection, neglected, I dug this one out tonight and wouldn't you know, but my memory has failed me once again. taylormadesoul is exactly right and I too prefer "Soda Pop". Enjoy.... Soda Pop (real audio) Ham Fat (real audio)
  18. Yep, that's the same guy who did "Honkey Tonk", "Honky Tonk Popcorn", "Sophisticated Soul", "Funky Whistler", etc. The "Ham Fat" single is decent, but for his Columbia sides, I heavily favor "The Worm". If is hasn't been done by this evening, I can post sound files of "Soda Pop" and "Ham Fat"
  19. Yes, that is my copy - check the ID of the seller. And now, due to the wonderous glories of technology, here is the song in Real Audio format: https://www.georgiasoul.com/sounds/records/melon.rm It is still being offered, though I am waiting to hear from two interested parties still.

  21. Chalky, do I still have to answer you here even though I did on the other forum and traded PMs with you? BTW, the 45 is still for sale - two people waiting on a sound file, which I'll email when I get home from work.
  22. OK, after a little searching around this site, it seems that it has been revealed, sort of. Anyway, my copy is available for $250 + $5 postage anywhere in the world.
  23. Last year there was some talk 'round these parts of a tune being played at the 100 Club as Donna Coleman. I don't know if it was ever revealed, but I've got a near mint copy of it available if anyone has want/need of it. PM or email me if seriously interested.
  24. These end tomorrow morning. Don't miss out!
  25. I've thrown up another stack o' wax onto your favorite (fave to love or hate) auction site. There's a pretty wide variety of sounds available, so look closely and check those audio files! Check 'em out here. https://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ...sassZurbanistop
