    45rpm Set Sale List #38

    Hi gang!

    I'm pleased to announce the arrival of my 38th set sale list! I spent

    February focused on ebay sales to auction some sounds which I don't

    normally feature on my lists, but this one still has a few oddball titles

    and curious records. Remember that if I haven't provided a sound file and

    there's something you want to hear, all you have to do is ask. I can make a

    real audio file or arrange a time for you to call me on the phone to hear

    anything.

    There are three records on this list for which I just couldn't come up with

    a set price, and they are listed as "OFFERS". They are:

    The After Hours - I Don't Wanna Cry / I Don't Wanna Cry (Condor 201) EX DJ

    The Berkshire Seven - I've Tried / Crazy Kind of Feeling (Stop 286) EX

    Ronnie and the Ramblers - Woman of Mine / Crow Calypso (R and R 9229) VG+

    My intent is not to be obteuse or mysterious - it's just that I don't know

    what they go for! Just make an offer, and if it sounds reasonable, I'll

    take it. I'm actually quite fond of the Ronnie & the Ramblers single, so

    that might be a little tougher to talk me out of - just so you know up front.

    I'll take offers for about a week or so and if not sold, list The After Hours

    and The Berkshire Seven on ebay. If not sold, I'll probably keep Ronnie & the

    Ramblers in my collection.

    Benny Sigler Reissue

    Picked up a Benny Sigler on Phil LA of Soul recently, thinking about selling it. As far as I can tell it is an original (it was in a small collection I bought, which is excessively light on reissues) but before I embarrass myself, I'd like to know how to tell the two apart, since I've never seen the reissue. If mine turns out to be original, it's also for sale.....

    OK, after a little searching around this site, it seems that it has been revealed, sort of. Anyway, my copy is available for $250 + $5 postage anywhere in the world.

    Chalky, do I still have to answer you here even though I did on the other forum and traded PMs with you? blush.gif BTW, the 45 is still for sale - two people waiting on a sound file, which I'll email when I get home from work.

    Last year there was some talk 'round these parts of a tune being played at the 100 Club as Donna Coleman. I don't know if it was ever revealed, but I've got a near mint copy of it available if anyone has want/need of it. PM or email me if seriously interested.
