I like my music loud. Happened to me years ago. Perfectly good well attended soul club I promoted, all of a sudden the council made us fit a monitor. That was the reason I stopped it. After spending the previous 15 years dancing next to every speaker I could find things didn't quite sound the same. Kev

Why not ask Tony Smith Warren? He's always championed this one and usually knows the history of the records he collects, even to the minute detail of what the studio cat had for lunch on the day the tracks were recorded. Kev

I was once in a record store in New Orleans clutching a handfull of Detroit gems when my old mate Paul Franklin started an argument with the owner about why the records were so expensive when they used to be 10c. DOH! Paul ignored me kicking the back of his legs and we were all thrown out. Minus the Detroit gems I might add! Lesson learnt-Always be polite to record store owners. Kev
