  1. Tell you what though it's a right bugger when you get a one-sided Demo! Almost feel cheated.
  2. Whoops-My apologies Mark -I must get my facts straight. I'm a very naughty boy. Now who was it?????? And thank you for not playing the record I didn't ask you for that you didn't have. Chelsea? Mark. We're off to Wembley and we're not frightened of anyone. Premiership Dead Ahead! Kev

  5. I know Mark I read your article 'The Ten Best b sides of all time' in Manifesto. One was 'Go On' Jimmy Mack flip of 'My World is on Fire' Great choice but......I remember asking you to play it not long after at The Ritz..........did you play it.......did you buggery! One good thing though....made me go out and buy my own copy. Kev

  8. Ever since I started collecting I've always flipped over records and played them at home. I was always interested in what was on the other side of records like Alexander Patton, Lee Roye, Patti Austin etc etc.......I just realized that whenever I buy a record that I either know or know but have never owned before I still play the flip side first. It's like a) delaying the pleasure of hearing the side I bought it for, but mostly B) the thought of hearing a song or tune I've never heard before. Are there any other 'flip side first' people out there or am I just plain old crazy. I'd like a second opinion! Regards Kev
  9. Cody Black-Going Going Gone-Ram Brock Deep n Sweet Kev

Apparently he used to buy em of Richard and uncover them the same night in the record bar. can't be certain what tunes they were as I was a youth then and not paying too much attention to the records. Richard, Pat or Guy would know more or our Dave Kev

  21. It's got my vote. Ray Pollard at the 100club was one of the best and most emotive live acts I've ever seen. He sent shivers down everyone's spine. True professional. You would have had to have been there to really appreciate it. Kev
  22. One word NORTHERN! Great to dance to too. Kev
  23. Don't know about the best but the intro to Ronnie & Robyn's 'Sidra's Theme' has always reminded me of The music to 'Tales of the Riverbank' and I always picture Hammy the Hamster driving his motor boat. Kev
