Ian's right Carl, many of us have been following your exploits and I have to say you've done yourself proud. Living the life many of us dream about. I applaud you and rightly you should be proud. If you do manage to put your work to vinyl I'm sure there would be enough of a market to make it worth while.
Well done so far.

Hi Albert
Looking forward to Spain again. Last year was a real blast of quality.
Just missed a w/d of The Superiors 2 days left $9.99 no bids and he pulled it.
Hopefully someone will come up with one for me. Thought it would be cheaper than 35 GBP though.
Kev
Couldn't agree more. The Little Anthony & The Imperials interview by Jason was worth the cover price alone. Priceless. Great to se all those Aussie issues they look good. Will have a few copies of TTB #11 at 100club so if anyone wants a copy search me out.
Regards
Kev
Hi I'm looking for a copy of The Superiors-I'd Rather Die-Sue 12. W/D prefered. Reasonable condition and price. Cash waiting for the right price.
Regards
Kev
I have both these and am a massive fan of The Four Tops but I have to say that The Dells version of 'Your Song' wins hands down.
Best ever FT .....toooooo many. Favourite......I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)

Snap. only one R stamp on mine. I'm still wondering if they went on general release in Germany with the reversed labels? Or if there are any copies out there without the labels reversed.
Kev
Both versions great Mark.
I'd like the Melvin Davis copy for I Must Love You as well but every copy I''ve seen for sale in the last couple of years have been battered with the-'still plays fine though' comment.
I remember asking Tony Smith to play it at the Ritz (prob the same night I didn't ask you to play the record you never had). He was slightly worse for wear as the train signals had been on the blink and it'd taken him 7 hours to get from London to Manchester via every station bar on the route I guess. Dave Malloy had to cue the records for him. Anyway I asked for IMLY and he put SIMH on instead. Afterwards he said "Good job it's a bloody good double sider Kev" Lol

Although I've known this for 25years and had handfulls of US issues, it's the first time I've come across a pic sleeve. Looks good to me but when it arrived today I found that the labels were reversed.
Has anyone out there got any information on this and were they on general release.
Cheers
Kev
No dramas here Chrissie. I was incensed when I read the Stevie (blind joke). I don't like prejudice, so felt I had to comment.
It obviously wasn't aimed at you.
The reason for my first reply was I couldn't understand why, if you don't particularly like Stevie Wonder's contempary pop music and I agree it's not his best you would open it up for debate on a Soul forum when it just doesn't even nearly touch what would normally cross into your world. You've said you don't like his output from the early 70's onwards so why bother opening it up unless you want to be persuaded otherwise that's all. There's no point.
Kev
This thread should be locked. There's really no point to it. The innovator Stevie Wonder has produced another record that is not really accessable to the Northern Dance crowd. Big deal! He must be mighty worried about that.
Chrissie, why don't you post up some more threads that are positive about things you like and admire etc etc instead of a thread that gives opportunities for people to make bad jokes about a blind man. No-one can seriously doubt the talent of Stevie Wonder. You may not enjoy all of his output but there's a lot to choose from.
Keep it sensible. The world is a nice place.
