  1. FAO Mark (sorry my friend, don't no your surname):
  2. Orr Chalky you always beet me to it!
  3. www.soulclub.org. I'ts a soundbite site though, nowt for sale.
  4. That's the one, there's some great stuff on!! Can't help with value, sorry Bri :-( My friend's got one, I'll convince him to sell....
  5. I never suspected it was booted, it's not a big enough record (yet) to have been... I thought maybe they were from different pressing plants, or perhaps they just ran out of vinyl ;-) I don't keep buying them - I had my own copy, bought one for a friend (haven't been payed yet), and the one in question cost me $15, so I just had to buy! And they're not that muffled. They're just not as clear as my new copy.
  6. Hasn't Bobby Kline been re-issued on a EP sort of thing? My mate's got one, sounds like there's some good stuff on too!
  7. I'm no expert, but from what I've seen/heard: Garpax came first, books about £250; Seventy 7 came after, books about £150; Sorry can't help with Helpp tehehe excuse the pun, even Manship doesn't list that! I don't know but I prosume both versions are same, as they tend to be sold as '1st & 2nd' issues. Hope this helps!
  8. Not much on at mo, will add further this week. Click the big smiley face to view. :-)
  9. All harry & the Keyavas I've seen (including those I own) are styrene pressings with a glossy, reddy-pink, stuck-on labels, and the sound quality is a little muffled. I bought a further copy that's arrived this morning, but this is on vinyl, with a matt, deep-red, moulded label, and even though the vinyl is far from mint, the sound quality is spot-on. What's 'appenin' 'ere then...... Different pressing plants? 1st/2nd issues? Can anyone shine a light on this matter? Does anyone care?
  10. That was my good deed for this year!! I personally hate the record (Bobby Wilson), and stands me at about 28p as I bought 60 records for $30 from a friend in the states last year. Best of all though, I got a copy of the Delites on Cuppy, which hasn't left my side since it arrived!! I didn't realise Bobby Wilson was worth anything, last I saw listed was £25 I think. And another thing, if anyone knows of/sees a copy of the Patterson Twins at £350 or less, let me know asap!!
  11. I know £300/350 seems to be the said going rate for the Patterson Twins, but try f**king finding one. I know of two friends, each got a copy for sale. I was asked £500 for one, and £600 for the other, so £300 seems to be what it should be worth, but in reality it's a lot more! Just my thoughts anyway... P.S. All copies I've seen are WDs. Does anyone know of any issues? P.P.S. Jason, how's the Bobby Wilson?
  12. WOW... What... a... track... Have you got one? Wish I had.
  13. Class track! Wonder if it still fills a floor...
  14. John... How many letters in crap? (and I really hope you meant crap - if not I'll feel really stupid!) On a note keeping with the topic; Bull & the Matadors - sounds like a star formation!
  15. Few wants: Bull - Bygones - Bell Richard Caiton - I Like To Get Near You - Up Tight All help appreciated, lots of trades available (60s, X-over & 70s)...
  16. Lil peddler has supposedly got a few boxes-full (around 30 in each) of the ON's, althought this sound's unlikely (if they're orig's) as there are probably no more than 30 in circulation! Sounds a bit fishy to me........ However, I am in the middle of a trade with Lil peddler regarding the ON's, but I assure you, I'll ask him before I do anything! And also, I was told the way to tell the boots apart from the real thing is that the labels of the orig's are matt black with silver text, while the boots are glossy black with silver text. Let me know if this is correct method, otherwise I'm screwed!!!!
  17. Mine should be here tommorow/Monday, so I'll post a scan asap!
