  7. This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at Clemson University, USA. This was a huge wedding with over 300 guests. After the wedding at the reception, the groom got up on stage and took the microphone to talk to the crowd. He said that he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding. He especially wanted to thank the bride's and groom's families for coming and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a fabulous reception. To thank everyone for coming and bringing gifts and everything, he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift from just him. Taped to the bottom of everyone's chair (even the chairs of the wedding party) was a manila envelope. He said that was his gift to everyone, and told everyone to open their envelopes. Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 picture of his best man having sex with the bride. (He had gotten suspicious of the two of them and hired a private detective to trail them weeks prior to the wedding.) After he stood there and watched the people's reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said ''f*** you !'' he then turned to the bride and said ''f*** you !'' and then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said..... ''Thanks, I'm out of here.'' He had the marriage annulled first thing that Monday morning. While most of us would have broken off the engagement immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with it anyway as if nothing was wrong. His revenge: 1) Making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300 guest wedding and reception. 2) Letting everyone know exactly what did happen. 3) And best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of all of their friends, their parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, nieces and nephews, etc.... Ya gotta love this guy.
  8. Some fantastic stuff there Leo... In fact, the only one that wouldn't make it int my top ten would be Bobby Reed - YUK ;-) And yep - Spyder hast to be best ever cheapie!!!!!!
  9. "Here comes the bride..." is an old fave of mine ;-)
  10. Faves at mo probably Choice of Colour or Freddy Hymes (which I have just swapped for - well not yet eh Mr. Dyson - in the post to you as we speak!) Fave all-time would have to be High Keyes...or maybe Majestics...or maybe Don Gardner (Is This Really love)...or maybe Four Voices...or maybe Johnny Caswell (impecible taste Mr. Briles - smashin' record!)...or maybe Bob 'n' Fred...or maybe mel britt...really can't decide... And like most here, I could list maybe 50 of 'all-time' faves, as I could with 'faves of moment'. And yes, impecible (?) is a word I cannot spell...as if you hadn't noticed!
  11. Never knew there were so many ways to express the word good ;-) Oh comon someone had to say it!
  12. And another thing....Can't see why anything by Jesse davis is worth owt, it's all shite IMO!!!!!
  13. I suppose the ray Pollard's OK........Can think of far better NS sounds that cost a million times less.......I'll start with sur-names beggining with the letter A LOL
  14. Totally aggree. As a wise man (Tim brown I think) omnce said, "Shrine = shite" - and oh how true that is! The 1 decent recording is Bobby reed - Caledonia brown, and it's just sod's law that it was never f**king released! Until now.....Yes the shrine boots, and yes...I said boots, not reissues, not legit... F**kin' BOOTS!
  15. Would you look at that (this - the [my] full post - click it) ! Six days left now!
  16. What's up with the Lillie bryant Demo anyway? Last time I looked (about 5 days since); there were 2 days left. Now, after it should have actually finished 3 days back, it has four days left? How odd...............
  17. Positive.... I have both....... So how much is it worth?
  18. My mate payed £200 for is.... I've got three for less than half of that LOL - two at $30 (£18) each and one at $89 (£50).
  19. It'd make about £180 on evilbay (going by the facts)... If you click the link to Hepp in one of my previous posts (about 3 back), it'll show you an ended copy.
  20. Yeah I'll give you £400 for it. LOL - Not! How much'ya found one for anyway?
  21. If Helpps the 1st issue, then we must use our mathematacategorical method to find the true value. See below: Seventy 7 - £150 Garpax - £250 £250 take-away £150 equals £100, £250 plus £100 equals £350 - and thus; our answer ;-)
  22. No I wouldn't play it out either - wouldn't dream of playing a boot... ...at least not with Jamie AKA Soulsville on the loose ;-)
  23. Depends.....about $80 off evilbay and £80 from a dealer, although I've just made a sale for £100 (not seen cash yet though). Chalky Can't you help with the styrene/vinyl/moulded/stuck-on/glossy/matt dilemma? You seem to a lot about a lot.....and I mean that in the nicest way possible ;-) Do you still want soundbite of 'Tears' BTW? If so, drop me you email addy and I'll send you a SB. Has anyone got/know owt about price etc. of 'If This Is Goodbye' on End?
