  1. I've seen one! Not in the flesh, but I've a photo of it - in fact, anyone with the Metropotitan CD 'Soul Allnighter', the 2-disc jobby in the white cardboard case, has a piccy; On the front cover of the CD in the red record box, there is a Wand record upside down half in/half out, and if you look closely you can make out **Just Brothers** Carlena It's a bit dodgy though, as most Wand stuff has the title above with stars either side, and the artist(s) below, but this is the other way around. You can also make out the pic on the back cover, as well as The Ivories on Wand. My scanner's playing up at the moment <_< so maybe someone can post a high-res scan of the front/back cover???
  2. Maybe, but what's it worth on Wand???

Margaret Little Forston & Scott Moments Al Scott Soul Inc. Bernie Williams Lester Tipton Cody Black Gwen Owens Just Bros. Ernestine Eady Tommy Ridgely De-Lites Hayes Cotton Bill Bush - Price??? I pitty the fool that $2,700 for this... In fact I know the fool that payed $2,700 for this! Lillie Bryant Ronnie McNeir - Far, far, far, far, far, far, too dear <_< Pat Lewis Cashmeres James Lately Tina Roberts Timeless Legend Robert tanner Jonny Mae Matthews Also I want to make sure that you all understand that Bill Bush is not a rare record! See for yourselves... One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six... Besides these, I've been offered a copy this week for $1,600, Manship's just auctioned one, and I'm sure there are plenty more out there... Feel free to post you thoughts and views. Hope y'all enjoy!
  5. Don't know for certain, hense the '?' after rarer... Oh... I just presumed they were the same. Thanks for bringing this to my attention though Tone, I was considering Buying it if it proved to be rarer...
  6. Which one - 'Ain't That Something'? If so that's the other side. BTW does anyone know how the price varies for the different coloured issues? i.e. the (more common?) white & the (rarer?) yellow ones...
  7. I know this is far from the current subject, but can anyone pleeeeaaaaaase supply a soundbite of The Crow - 'Autumn Of Tommorow'........ Haven't heard it in years so just want to re-wet my tastebuds!
  8. No no Mr. X... £75 is (ro seems to be) far from the going rate. You see Mr. Smith is too cheap, hence the record being £125 short of the apparent going rate... £75 may be about right for the later red issue, although judging from my web travells, these seem to go for around £50/60. Totally aggre with you ragarding the two being identical, tho', I can't spot the difference Just one more thing while I'm centre-pitch within a long winded post; I also really want a copy of Johnny Darrow - 'Love Is A Nightmare' (SUE). Cheeeeeeers
  9. Here y'are Mikey - wonder where the 2nd one came from.........
  10. mmmmmm.... Not sure - may take a few listens to get into it..... 20£ in guide, and I posted a clip for anyone that wants a listen...
  11. ...and found one! Ovenchip's selling at £25 - shall I buy??? Same recording methinks. Have a listen ...
  12. In that case Mr. Smith I suggest you get it back and sell it to me! Just going to find clip of t'other cover.........
  13. Red or orange label's Ok . PM me or mail me at l_l_m_w@hotmail.com. Cheeeeers
  14. Yeah and the fact that he has everything on every wants list! (no offence, Henry... but it does seema little weird )
  15. Capitol not Columbia. Anyone who has a copy, flip it over - fantastic!!
  16. Astor books around £250-300. Not available credited to jimmy Castor according to guide...
  17. ...and wanted very desperately... Trades or cash available. Billy
  18. Who's the soundbite from? It's in Andy's section isn't it... Mr. Dyson is this yours? Full length would be nice <_<
  19. Mad bugger... <_< Seen 3 on ebay, this one (cheers Trev, seen it already; will stick bid in at end so wish me luck! ), the one before made £140, and the very first I saw made $139ish... Missed it though... Bar these, Shifty had one for offers starting at £200, and manship's made around £250 on auction (can't remember exact price but think it was somewhere around this).
  20. Just read through track listing - Falcons no where to be found Sure my mate's got that CD, will tell him to bring it down for a listen...
  21. IO never actually said I wanted margaret Little, in fact I've only heard it the once! The only want I started with is Tommy Dodson, but I also really want Johnny Darrow - "Love is a nightmare" ...and this is probably more desperate than T.D.III, so if anyone can help, oh shucks, I'd be mighty greatful
  22. I actually have a Frederick Hymes, but PM me with your price by all means (never can have too many of a track that good ). FAO Mark*Sue/Netspeaky - nobody else (although I do now realise that it's a rather 'open' place to discuss money etc. , but what the hell! ): BTW just got invoice through PayPal, but the link keeps freezing. Is the total inc. shipping £16.50? If so I'll pay via 'send money' link rather than through invoice... PM me (emails don't seem to work) if you need my address for shipment. Mark
  23. What's a 'normal priced' one worth then?
  24. Anyway... What about Tommy Dodson... Anybody got one up for grabs?
  25. I think it made around $5,500 (just answered my own question then <_< ), but you know how daft things go on eBay... Take Bill Bush for example; loads about, £300 tune in my books, my mate bought the signed/picture sleeve jobby for $2,700 which I thought was just rediculous! Loads more turned up now though, on evilbay every week, but still make $1,000+... Can't see why though? Why pay throught he nose for sommet that's about as rare as your big toe? (i.e. everybody's got one, apart from the few involved in tragic big toe-related injuries, but I think the freaks with two big toes compensate, don't you? ) Ignore me... I'm just rambling... BTW please don't inform me on the price of Halo, I don't want to know... Just find me one!
