  2. I'd like a Walter Jackson if anyone has 2 spare
  3. ...saying that though, nice label so might have a go
  4. Not taking sides, but couldn't aggree more mate - utter tripe! Why pay £200+ for this sing-along pop song when for £8.99 you could have "Now that's what I call music 5 million and 8"...or whatever number they're up to! Billy
  5. I play both sides out, playig this one a bit more at home though... Although I do prefer "No clouds" Mine's black, with labels on right way.
  6. Saw a copy on eBay a while ago but didn't know it then. Need to know who bought that one I would like to know who bought that copy, so please email/PM me if you did or know who did. Email: l_l_m_w@hotmail.com All help much appreciated. Billy
  7. Think it's best for all of us if he sticks to selling comicks
  8. Does anyone know of any other releases on the label? Only two I know of are Delites and Thornton Sisters, but I haven't really being looking... Actually never heard Thornton Sisters, so has anyone got a soundbyte they wouldn't ming sharing? Billy
  9. Five Royals is about £300 at moment, although I've just watched one make $851 (£500) on eBay before it was pulled off. Bill Bush is worth a grand until the idiots who buy them realise that it's not rare... Don't know Deon Jackson I'm afraid - soundbyte anyone? Karmello Brooks, probably a thousand quid, saw a cracked on eBay make about £500, so make from that what you will... Voicebox, about £20 for a demo, £25 for an issue, so not a lot, but a brill track! Will put some soundbytes together and post up in a bit Billy
  10. no WD with piccie sleeve. Can't say I've heard other side. Soundfile anyone? Billy
  11. WANTED... Commands - "Hey it's love" - Dynamic - Think Manship's got one for £100, anyone do me a better deal than that? Email: l_l_m_W@hotmail.com (having bit of trouble with email today so probably best to PM me instead) All the best, Billy
  12. Right a few hitting the decks here... *Tootsie Rollers - "Give me love" - Me-O *Conquistadors - "Sadness and madness" - Sygnett *Joe Arnold & Davis Combo - "Ride the wind" - 2 Spot - Can't stop playing this, fab R&B! *Percy Stone - "Heart of a child" - Atlantic *Sonny Knight - "If you want this love" - Aura *Flowers - "For real" - LAX *Barbara Redd - "I'll be all alone" - SPQR *Ruby - Gold Token - Perhaps the best double sider of them all ?? *Little Willie Faulk - "Look into my heart" - M&H - Trouble wouldn't sell me his Ree Flores so had to settle for one of these Cheating - next two from soundbytes... *Mello Souls - "We can make it" - Trying to make it grow on me cos I really don't see why people go a bundle on this... Nothing special IMO *Ebony Essence - "Let me in" - Not yet got me mits one one, so if anyone has one for sale, will pay TOP price Billy
  13. Does that mean you'll be buying and playing a copy then James?
  14. twas a joke twouty
  15. .....besides (I quote from the description of the Jerry Washington): "I do not end auctions early. Please do not email me with cash/trade offers. All emails containing offers will be ignored." ...or something along those lines. Otherwise I would have emailed him and offered him a grand
  16. Yes Davie, but if the seller does end the auction, it does not totally disappear. I know because I've done it both as a bidder and a seller, and it just stayes in watch/sold list as an ended item. The items in question didn't. I had no intentions on bidding on the Five Royales, as I thought the price was absolutely ludicrous, especially given that Manship has a copy for sale at £300, but I was really pissed at the Jerry Washington as I've wanted a copy for years.
  17. Don't know if anyone else has found this to be a problem, but a few weeks back I was watching a MINT copy of Jerry Washington NOT listed under Nothen Soul for a stating of $6.99 and just 1 bid. When I looked back the next day, it had disappeared without a trace! The same thing has just happened with the 5 Royales, and I know some of you must have seen this, so speak up if you found that it had disappeared. The curent bid was about $851 (over the top I know), and the high-bidder was Scoot555o_1. I know for a fact Geordie Johnson can definately second the Jerry Washington's disappearance, as he was the one that told me about the item in the first place. Does anyone know what's going on? (an unusually mad) Billy
  18. I'll say! Pat sold one for £3,000 a while back didn't he? So it can't be a common record to sell for that much! But on the other hand the boots must affect the price.....in fact, think one sold on eBay a month or two ago fo about $1,200 (£700)....bugger! missed it!
  19. Yep, mine's got black credits where as Micks has got red. Gaz Steele's got one with red cred's too.
  20. Oh no more than one copy....I know of three including mine.
  21. Apolgies if "o" is missing from words supposed to cntain "o", but the "o" key on my keyboard only wrks when it f*cking well wants <_< Thought of a few more... Margaret Little - Love finds a way - 2 known Billy Wisdom - Handwriting - 1 Out-a-site copy and about 3 acetates... let me know when this turns up would lve one Gene tones ISSUE - just the one as far as I know Gwen Owens "Wanted and needed" - 3 original issues (?) and a few more demos, or is it the other way round Damon Fox - 4 copies? Ernest Mosley DEMO - 1 copy, but fairly easy on blue label... Walter Wilson - 3 according to JM Ivorys on Wand - heard there were only a handful. Is this true? 'bout it now for me...anyone else?? billy
  22. Can anyone forward a soundfile of the Ted Wilson please? Would love to hear i the full way through... Tooblebilthy
  23. Thios is a spin-off from the frank Wilson topic... I'm just curious of what the real rare records are?? I'll start off with a few I know, maybe you folks can elaborate The Inspirations on Breakthrough - 1 copy to my knowlege The CODs on Kellmac (She's fire) - 1 copy Blue Sharks "These things will keep me loving you" - Only 1 copy known in the past 20 years, one turned up on eBay a while back, whether or not it was the same one I don't know. Frank Beverly on Rouser - 2 copies Milton James "My lonely feeling" - 2 copies Kell Osborne "Law agains a heartbreaker" - 2 copies Mello Souls - 3 copies Richard Lackey "Love shopping" - 3 according to Manship Don Gardner "Cheating kind" - 3 copies + other super-rare stuff, sure there are only a handful of stuff like William Powell, Inticers, Eric mercury, JD Bryant, Don Gardner, etc. etc., and I'm sure the list goes on and on, but I'm going to stop now. Can anyone help populate the list? Billy
  24. Yes, "Yes it's you" is creited to Eugene Smiley & the Essence of Love, also on K-City records. P.S. Soundfile on it's way
  25. Oh sorry; just realised I didn't actually answer your question. Would guess the title to be somewhere along the lines of "I wanna share my love with you". Whether it is or not who knows! Billy
