  1. It's a million times better than 90% of the stuff played at the moment, and stuff that goes for a hell of a lot more. Take for example the Hytones - You don't even know my name - ABSOLUTE F*CKIN SHITE
  2. I know it, like it, but can't afford it brill funky crossover and highly recommended from me

  7. Quite a few about but £350 seems to be about the going rate (if there is such a thing!). £40 way over the top for a boot IMO.
  8. Totally aggree big man SUPERB! Wouldn't exactly call it a beat ballad though - vocally it's slow but the backing is at least mid-tempo if not faster
  9. I'm also after one of these. E-mail: l_l_m_w@hotmail.co.uk Billy

  13. Rock 'n Roll my arse! R&B down to the bone I was tipped £500 for mine as it was supposedly unissued (i.e. all Glad-Hamp copies are demos), but me and my good friend Mr. Geordie Johnson (who found our copies) both have red & white issues
  14. Roy Hamilton - Let the music play The greatest ender of all-time. Brilliant!
  15. Sorry yes that's the one. Would be interested to find out how many copies of this are known, seems VERY rare....
  16. So you got one in the end then. Good for you mate - billiant record
  17. Dear me Joe.... Easily one of the greatest soul 45s ever made IMO Mr. Bicknell ! always had this down as one of your spins. Personally think it's brilliant and it would certainly be one of the first things I'd buy in result of a lottery win Aggree, a big fat pile disjointed junk. Flip is lovely deep slowie though Shaft always springs to mind when I hear this Agrre with most other stuff mentioned - apart from Lady in green. Again, one of the greatest soul records IMO quite like Terry Goodnight too whtich I saw was taking a bit of a slating... Billy
  18. Rico Barr & The Boston Barristers - I need you babe (BOSSTOWN) e-mail: l_l_m_w@hotmail.co.uk Cheers
