  4. Was just curious as to what the majority of users prefered - R&B, 60s, Northern, Crossover, 70s or the lot. I had to vote "All of above" as we in the boot household listen to anything and everything soulful Vote away! I've closed the pole to posts to avoid any arguaments.
  5. What you mean yes it is Sandi Golden? I asked for soundbytes not if it was her Billy Jr.
  6. The New Sounds is certainly one of the best things I've ever heard AWESOME! Billy Jr.
  7. £75 off Manship so £40 sounds about right. Rare though, we've been after one for 12 months now and seen none bar Manship's
  8. What have you got up your arse this time Len? Cairos??
  9. By the way did anyone catch what the Videls made? We were gonna bid but fergot all about it.....
  10. Do the jerk is a million times better than losing controll in my opinion, probably just as rare too... Think there are more than 5 copies of LC: Ian C Tim B Paul Morrall Dazz the copy Manship sold twice 1 on ebay another on ebay and I think Hippo ...that's 8 of top of me head, anyone know of any more? Can only think of 2 copies off hand of Jerk - Ian's and one that I bid on (and lost - tightwad ) on ebay. LC is a very mediocre record methinks, wouldn't get anywhere near the turntable recognition it's recieves if it was only worth £20 Do the jerk on the other hand is brill Billy Jr.
  11. Anybody got a soundbyte of Sandi Golden? Pref both sides as I've never heard flip... Ta
  12. Been one on my last ten or so sales lists at a tenna, so I shall me mighty annoyed if you get double that for it
  13. Yes suppose you're right, after all what sort of eejot would buy a copy of Wombat Still like Martells tho
  14. Would have thought value more about £800. Saw one make just over a grand on ebay (about £1050) Brill record Pete you have no taste

  16. PM me, sure we can sort something out
  17. Got a lovely new fifty-pence piece here I could let go in trade if you accept I will polish and clean and send registered mail to your address. I would say the trade leans more in your direction so you'd have to be a fool to say no Ramble ramble ramble
  18. I played it at York last month and it went down an absolute storm. Aparently does the business at Flipside too
  19. It's from 1960/61 by the way, so not a 50s Blues tune
  20. Instumental? No worries "Mark". To each is own I guess Blues? Definately not! R&B all the way, and a crackin R&B tune at that! Howe tunes like Sherri Taylor and Etta James get adopted by the scene while this can be called 'Blues' and 'Rock n Roll' is beyond me.
  21. Been a lot of talk of this of late so was curious to see what eveyone thought of it. I personally love it, but know a fair few who would brand it 'Rock n Roll'. For those of you that don't know it I'll post a soundbyte up in about 10 mins, so check back then
