Offlist please to l_l_m_w@hotmail.co.uk (or PM)
I had emails/PMs from a couple of folks, one with Noah and the other with Tony Fox, but I have deleted your PMs by mistake. Just send another and hopefully we can get something sorted

Yes it is the same Hotline - yellow with green type I seem to remember, although it is a while since I've seen one..... I think one went trough ebay with just the one bid, start was £1000 I think, I also heard Greg sold his for £1500
Superb Pete have known this ages, but nt sure which I like best.... I think this is probably the smoother record but i love the Daybreak man's voice so think I would have to vote for that ...and am I right in saying it's harder to find than Daybreak? Been hunting for this for ages and not a sniff until end of last year one went through on ebay but I forgot about it.... I have seen 20+ copies of Daybreak over past few years, just refuse to pay so much for a record I don't see as being particularly rare... kin tightarse.....
Ahhh but we have more this time
Got 24 so far:
Bill Murphy
Radiants
Tempests
Jimmy James
Spontanes
Electrons
Jordan Bros
Little Joe & Latinares
Sparkz
Commands
Embers
Holiday Band
Jimmy Cliff
Little Jesse & Teardrops

So that's the 10 I listed + Embers and this one: https://the.soulclub.org/stream/The_Holiday...o_Big_Thing.ram
Any more?
btw just listened to Jimmy James and wasn't too impressed....
Yep, B-side of one of their Dynamic releases I think but slower than the other cuts I seem to remember...
So let's see......so far we have:
Bill Murphy
Radiants
Tempests
Jimmy James
Spontanes
Electrons
Jordan Bros
Little Joe & latinares
Sparkz
Commands
Any additions?
I've heard the Spontanes cover and thought it was very beachy sounding and not a patch on the flip which is one of my personal faves. I also remember seeing the song on a playlist on Cotillion but can't remember who it was (presuming it's same song of course). Anyone know??
My fave is either Jordan Bros or Little Joe. Tempestes is nice but like Rich said it's often overlooked due to quality of other stuff on album. This said though, it was played by Mr Tony Hatfield at the Friendship last month and sounded superb (and got a few dancers I seem to remember)

Oh it's superb! Just abouts hits the nail on the head aas far as funky 60s soul is concerned I think Mark's a member of the forum now, maybe he'd care to enlighten us
Saw it when it first came on. Laughed it off at first but it seems a few folks have fallen for it. Best thing might be to mail the guys at vcs and ask if they remember pressing them. Doubt they will though what with all hte orders from Smiffyland
There have been loads of copies of Joe Hinton on ebay over last few months, might be a good idea to put it into your 'favourite searches'.
Regarding your "I will not pay more than price stated in Manship edition 2" comment.....good luck to you! That guide's almost 3 years old so the chances of finding something mainstream at those prices are slim to none
It would surprise me Andy - most of the stuff he sells makes on average double the going/ebay rate and it made $7500 (approx £4000) early last year....but in the words of Chris B "Hey what do I know!"
