  1. last one on ebay made just over $300
  2. sorry folks IN MY OPINION always forget that bit ..and yes Pete, I personally think so. The No Time side of J&W is very mediocre in my opinion. Memories is my all time fave, but I think the flip would get no where on its own. Yes the flip of the Cashmeres is superb, but I'm not bothered about Showstopper, never have been. Can't think of any wow 45s by E Laskey and to be honest I find most of the Darrel Banks 45s a tad boring (probably overplayed in my house) though all are brilliant records. The best double sider in my opinion is the High Keys, no question. IN MY OPINION
  3. If it's similar to Joe Jama my name's Mogley. Joe Jama is stompin soul with a purpose, and for me & a lot of others epitomisesnorthern soul; Johnny London is white trashy failed pop with a decent-ish backing track.
  4. Miss Madeline - Behave yourself / Lonely Girl (MarVLus) £15 2nd best double sider EVER
  5. Price for Storm seems very reasonable. was watching one on ebay made something like $3k.
  6. oohhh Trace of Smoke what..... a... choon!
  7. priceless Ken
  8. You mean you bought a copy from Cleethorpes that played the wrong record? the one I'm after is on pink Cooking from NJ, same pen as Billy Arnell & the Holly label. Don't know how much I need to be paying? £75 in Manship guide and I heard £300 in TB. Would happily pay somewhere between the 2 Also after this one if anyone can help.. Billy Keen 'Finally got wise' GALAXY cash waiting. Ta
  9. Sorry Ken didn't really get that I'll have a run through try to decifer
  10. Yesss please: The Universals 'Diamonds and pearls' COOKING 1112 Offlist to l_l_m_w@hotmail.co.uk or PM. All help mucho appreciated
  11. weak compared to most things, Vondells is superb and who ever compared the two nees their ears weshin Pretty safe to say there are more than 5 copies doing the rounds, don't know about quantity at any one time but the guy I mentioned has had a few in his hands over the past year.
  12. There are a couple on label by him, this seems to be rarest. All others are listed as garage and selling for $10 and less
  13. $2650 actually: https://popsike.com/php/detaildata.php?itemnr=4072981488
  14. Fair price, one on ebay made $3500
  15. seen at £50 to £100 on ebay & various lists.
  16. the group were war veterans hense name Survivors
  17. I remember someone saying it sounds like Lewis Clark 'I need your lovin' which is about spot on, but Survivors is faster. Think it has a few nursery line lyrics in too 'Humpty dumpty fell off his wall' etc etc
  18. There was a guy on here, Jason from Indiana had a number of copy, but they were sat on or something along those lines. Not that great a record imo, bit white and never really goes anywhere. Having said that though I wouldn't mind one in my box... There's a soundclip on Manship's site.
  19. Aggree Joe its shit anyway
  20. is Albatroos rare 1st price or a tacky boot
  21. don't think 250's that bad, seem to remember the one on ebay beong aroun d $400 mark before it ended. Am I right in saying it's promo only?
  22. fkin bargain if i had a spare $3k this is where I'd blow it. Superb tune imho
  23. not as good as mine though eh
  24. Other side's better heard an unreleased L pride track a year or so ago and that just blew me away & that's his best imo, closely followed by the non-southern cut of 'Your love is fading' Aggree with Gareth the Albatross 45 is very good, recall seeing one on ebay a few months ago. Anyone remember final price? hohooos in the hoot
  25. "or something like that" it was a guess, I remember it being more that I personally though it was worth. I'm not having a go at Andy for prices, if he can sell them for this sort of money then why shouldn't he? I was simply stating that he sold the Passions at more than I though it was worth, and now the Passionettes, it must be ebay/my/book prices which are wrong. I know I'm shit with prices anyway, and anyone who reads what I post can clearly see my valuations usually way out and the rest is bollocks. Discussion over, I don't like arguing
