  1. Never been booted on vinyl as far as I'm aware. There are imitation label and white demo boots but both are styrene with paper label.
  2. yes local issue, but seem to remember readin/being told it came after Atlantic. Certainly rarer but not particularly expensive. Should be no more than a tenna on Atlantic, maybe double on Q-city. Mind you I may be wrong. It happens often Got it on as i type actually. Lovely record, might be interested in taking it off your hands if ya fancy it mate. PM me Billy
  3. Right, here's the story (and I know Baz will back me up on this) Lil' Peddlar scored either 20 or 30 copies from a member of the band (drummer I believe) and instead of letting them go one every couple of months, the bloody fool put them on 10 or more at a time, a couple starting low and the rest with $1200 'buy now' prices. He seems to have sold quite a few to the UK, one of which landed with a good mate of mine and it is EXACTLY THE SAME as mine which I've had for years. I think Baz bought one actually so can verify I am not one of Lil' Pedllar's lil' minnions trying to get him a sale. Same with the Singing Swinging Counts - originals, he just has a lot. The only boots he was selling were the Monzas 'Instant love' lookalikes. I know because I was foolish enough to buy one! They were pressed in early 70s for the beach scene and the majority of copies he has were signed. But, despite rumours, he seems like a decent guy, and after i told him that they are boots and here's how I know blah blah blah, he stopped selling them on ebay. That's fair enough isn't it??? So Baz........over to you mate Mark
  4. Bit weak on vocals but quite nice. Not a bad double sider really, but I think I speak for a lot when I say £800 is a hell of a lot of cash to spend on an unknown record, that's my view anyway. Isn't the other one on the label by her yellow? Mark

  10. Which on Dig-it ? if so seen loads about. There's been at least 2 on ebay over the last8 months or so, made about £200 I think. Arctic had one a while back I believe and Northwest records man (Gene I think his name is) had one for $125.......which I missed
  11. It went the day the list came out mate - I meed it too $125 it was
  12. Bid on a Solid Gold issue but bid low as I wasnt sure if it was a re-issue or even the same version. Made $85 in the end I think and I still haven't heard it. Re the Helpp issue, that's been about a long time. definately rarer than Garpax but no-where near as good in my opinion. That bouncy bassline makes the record for me and the helpp one doesn't have this. Stefan would you be interested in selling your copy? PM me if so, got some ncie trades of similar style I can offload.

  21. Definately another version, slower and less funky, but can't for the life of me remember who it is. Think it's a group name?? The Liggins 45 is rare, but seemed to turn up a bit. Saw at around £4/500 mark at one point but now go for around £200 on ebay. Missed on at just under $300 a while back, cheapest I've seen I think. Martin have you still got yours? If so I might be interested in taking it off yer hands......PM me if you can. Mark
