  11. I would think there is mileage in this Pete. I for one would enjoy a cover band as long as they were professional in there attidude and had some talent. These days fiftysomethings can probably still 'cut it' unlike some of our 'heroes' who have lost it through reason of advancing years. M. ps I had to read the post twice before I realised it wasn't you who was starting the band

  20. David, if this helps, I have spoken to a collegue of mine who is a premier business sellar, the upgrade required at the £30k limit is as painless and straightforward as the default limit for us lesser mortals. Providing he has legitamate accounts it can be verified and cleared within 48 hrs. The only way PayPal would risk falling foul of a Premier Sellar(and losing all of their commissions that go with him) is if there were some problem with either his verification details, or - more likely - the account had been frozen pending investigation by Paypal/Ebay or external interested bodies! You should have been refunded within days! M.
  21. a fortnight seems to be about the norm in my experience but have had some much quicker and unfortunately some lots longer A lot depends on how quick or how often the sellar makes a post office run. M.
  22. Yes but the verification process takes a few days at the most, even les if you use the call back facility! - not weeks Also plenty of notice is given by paypal as you approach the limit and the account is still useable. Sounds like more stalling tactics to me, if he's struggling with paypal why not offer to send a cheque, or would that be a rubber one
