The members are all in-mates at the Maryland Penitentiary and are donating the proceeds from the disk to the Maryland Penitentiary Prisoners' Fund, the Hobert Lindner Foundation and their families. The members, Russell Quarles, Archie "Artie" Shaw, John "Jelly" Madison, James Richardson and McGowan, wrote the tunes on the disk and have written 250 other songs.
