The third of our summer series of Saturday night Motown and Northern Soul nights at the rugby club. Really excited to be hosting a guest spot from Mike Simon (Ledbury Soul). Supporting sets from Ray Evans and Lofty Wright. Come along and enjoy a lovely venue, ample free parking on site, and supporting a great local sporting enterprise.

The first of our three Saturday night dates at the Malvern Rugby Club. Guest for this evening is local favourite Rob Hurcomb. Ray Evans and Lofty Wright providing supporting sets. Across the board sounds in a tidy club, supporting a great local sports club, and with plenty on free onsite parking.

Im doing a three hour SOUL radio show on ambersound fm (107.2) tonight, broadcasting out of Ripley Derbyshire. Im standing in for Glyn Williams for a week or two. (see soultime promotions for full story on that) You can listen on line www.ambersoundfm.com also get details for texting and e-mailing the studio from that website. Show runs from 9.00 till midnight. The first couple of hours concentrating on popular and northern, with a slash of modern, the last hour is more modern, showcasing some of the stuff you would hear at Soul Republic (Hinckley), A1 Soul club (Grantham), Nottm Modern Room (Long Eaton). Hopefully something for everyone. Gig guide around ten if anyone wants to send in details of local-ish events for a shout out. cheers Lofty
