  1. No. Loads of copies of this 45 has been found and it shouldn't cost you more than £20-ish absolute tops. In fact, Craig Moerer has got over 100 M- copies in stock at the moment priced at $35 each: https://www.recordsbymail.com/search.php?keywords=24768
  2. Only about 2-3 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking! :-)
  3. Lots of cheap buy-it-now copies on eBay: https://desc.shop.ebay.com/Records-/306/i.html?LH_TitleDesc=1&LH_PrefLoc=2&_nkw=%22Don%20Fardon%22%20room&Speed=45%2520RPM&_catref=1&_dmd=1&_dmpt=Music_on_Vinyl&_fln=1&_ssov=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282
  4. It's previously unissued and only available on this CD: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Just-Beginning-Phillip-Mitchell/dp/B00013MWZC
  5. I think his version on the SONET 45 is decent (and superior to anything on the Harlem Kiddies EP) but obviously too slow to be suitable for a dancefloor. I just think it's amazing that a swedish/danish artist recorded a cover of "My Baby Likes To Boogaloo" in the mid-60s. I guess he must've learned/heard it when Don Gardner and Dee Dee Ford toured Sweden at that time. King George/Harlem Kiddies might even have been their backing band for those dates, I'm trying to get more info on that. Have you heard the more uptempo funky take of "My Baby Likes To Boogaloo" and the storming "It Ain't Right" off the swedish "King George Discovery" LP? There's some good stuff on the danish Harlem Kiddies LP on SONET as well. Also worth checking out is "Last Train To Georgia" with his band Red, White and Blues plus both sides of the "I'm The Best" 45. His early 80s LP is best to avoid...
  6. There's now about 2 days left on these auctions.
  7. Any info on this? Matrix details etc. Have seen two pressings on Capitol, one as Carletts and one as Corletts but both of those were originals.
  8. And also a seriously rare version by King George on danish SONET (as "Boog-A-Loo") released in a nice picture sleeve.
  9. Hello! I've listed a bunch of records on eBay. There are label/sleeve scans and soundclips to all records. 10. I'm not trying to be picky, I just really wanted to know if the MICA issue utilised a different recording than the Jerhart/Impression 45. There's a big difference between a "mix" and a "take" when it comes to studio/recording lingo.
  11. If that's recorded from the MICA issue (I've never had that 45 myself), then it's the exact same take as on the JERHART and IMPRESSION issues. It just sounds a bit "clearer" and the vocal sounds more seperated from the backing track. Much heavier compression used on the Jerhart/Impression releases perhaps, or is the Mica release in stereo?
  12. I guess you're right about that it's impossible to tell sealed copies apart. But if you have the record in front of you or can e-mail the seller, then just ask (or see) what is etched in the run-out groove.
  13. You can order it straight from the label at the bottom of this page: https://www.timmion.com/webshop/timmion7
  14. Dee Edwards - Why Can't There Be Love - BUMP SHOP Renaldo Domino - Let Me Come Within - TWINIGHT We The People - Making My Daydream Real - LION
  15. No, you can tell the difference between them by just looking at the vinyl. The matrix details are different. You should look for the following matrix number in the run-out groove if you want to have the uptempo version that is in-demand: S-9014-A (-2) I don't have the "wrong" LP at hand, so can't tell you what the "wrong" matrix number is, but I seem to remember that it doesn't have the "(-2)" part mentioned above. Perhaps someone that has got the "wrong" version can post up the matrix details on their copy?
  16. There are some nice moments on the "My Love Is Your Love" album though. Especially the title track, "It's Not Right But It's OK" and "Get It Back".
  17. The "Live At Harlem Square Club" album is a masterpiece from beginning to end in my opinion. If you'd like to hear his grittier side as a solo artist then definitely check that LP/CD out. Amazing stuff! Here's a particularly intense portion of the show: Apart from that... I really like his version of "Rome Wasn't Built In A Day": https://www.youtube.c...h?v=xV6eRTTsPPY
  18. These were both issued in Greece on the TOP TUNES label: Dee Dee Sharp - What Kind Of Lady / You're Gonna Miss Me - TOP TUNES TT1 Frank Beverly & The Butlers - If That's What You Wanted / Love (Your Pain Goes Deep) - TOP TUNES TT8
  19. Wow! Didn't know that! Just did a search and noticed that a 3187 demo copy sold on eBay a couple of years ago: https://www.popsike.com/php/detaildatar.php?itemnr=230107340593
  20. Put a high amount of copies in the "quantity" box (like 1000), and on the next page you'll get a message along the lines of "we're sorry, you requested 1000 copies, but we've only got 22 in stock".
  21. Most likely that price should've been £25. It hardly ever sells for more than $30 on eBay and Craig Moerer has got more than 20 M- copies in stock at the moment priced at $40 each. Manship is charging £30 for it.
  22. Little Beaver's version of "Do It To Me One More Time" is on SAADIA as well, it's the flipside to "Blind Man" (or were we talking about "Somebody Done Took My Baby And Gone"? ). Not as good as Joey Gilmore's version in my opinion, but shares the same basic backing track.
  23. Perhaps it had two runs on SAADIA? I've only ever seen one label variation of it though. I used to have it on both SAADIA and PHIL-L.A. OF SOUL and also sold my Saadia copy because it sounded very muffled and was lacking in the high end frequencies.
  24. The original is on vinyl. The styrene bootleg has got different label lettering and delta number 103548 in the run-out groove. The vinyl bootleg has got a small TUFF logo in regular letters. ORIGINAL: VINYL BOOTLEG:
  25. Only about 2-3 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking! :-)
