    In my experience this is a far rarer 45 than most people realise. Only turns up about once or twice per year on ebay. When I was after it I had to wait more than a year for a copy to turn up for sale.

    I just noticed that Outta Sight is publishing a book written by Tim Brown on the 18th of October entitled "The Wigan Casino Years: Northern Soul - The Essential Story 1973-81". The first significant underground music scene in the UK came to the notice of the media and public alike in 1977, a television documentary endeavoured to capture the spirit of thousands of youngsters dancing all night to obscure, rare American soul records - which even then were up to a dozen years old. The Wigan Casino Years documents, illustrates and analyses the golden age of Northern Soul from 1973 - 1981. Writer Tim Brown experienced those years as a top collector and later became a leading record dealer, label owner and documentor of this, perhaps the most idiosyncratic and secretly influential of musical formats. With high quality graphics and full colour throughout, this book confronts the modern age with the real truth and will fascinate both the devotee and curious at the same time.

    Pama was the UK issue. Amy was the original US issue. I suppose Pama licensed it from Amy. Several of the other soul releases on Pama were also sourced from Amy/Mala/Bell distributed stuff.

    No, the copies I've had with the Truth-stickered sleeve have all had the regular yellow label Stax issue inside. Here's the label on the vinyl of one of those Truth-stickered copies (which I sold a couple of years ago):

    The Truth TRS 4202 "re-issue" is just the regular Stax issue with Truth stickers applied on the sleeve where the old Stax catalogue number could be found. Compare the photos below, Stax issue at the top and Truth issue at the bottom.

    I've noticed that the street address on the label differs between the blue and yellow copies. Looks like they moved house inbetween the pressings and were most likely not done at the same time.     Those gold labeled Four Voices 45s were pressed in the 90's (or mid-80's at the very earliest).

    No, it's Johnny Daye (same guy as on Stax, Jomada and Parkway).

    There might ofcourse be one, but I have never heard of another version of "You're So Good To Me Baby". By far the better tune of the two on that Eddie Spencer 45 in my opinion.

    There are probably ways around it, but I honestly have no idea how to as I never use iTunes. I thought you just needed server space and unlimited transfer volume. Hope you're able to sort it out.

    I don't know which song on the Zonophone reissue it is that you're after, but the flipside "Don't" exists on an original swedish 45 released in the 60s as well. "Beatmaker" is otherwise LP-only though.
