  1. It's got a PO Box address in Dania, Florida.
  2. Any chance of soundclips?
  3. Two issue copies sold on eBay in May and June 2009. They sold for $332 and $389. That's £225-ish. It sure is rare, but I see no reason for the price to have gone up with £475 since then.
  4. https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280569124065
  5. The clip that Ken posted above is the Pat Boyack/Sweet Pea Atkinson version. I absolutely love the original 70s version.
  6. The bizarre thing is that the person making those inane comments is the guy behind the following site: https://www.globaldogproductions.info/ He really should know better.
  7. Only 2-3 hours to go on these auctions: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  8. There's about one day left on these auctions now: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html
  9. My favourite tune by Cee-Lo is "Right Now" which he did back in 2006 together with Jack Splash under the band name The Heart Attack. I don't know if it ever got a proper release, but it was featured in a movie and appeared on a Gnarls Barkley promo CD-R. Have a listen:
  10. Hazel recorded another (solo version) of "Out Of My Life" in the 80s. It is vastly inferior to the original Tempests version in my opinion, but you can have a listen to it here:

  19. Sorry, can't help you with any info about this LP, but those are some very primitive recordings! That "It's All Over" tune (number 04) as well as track 05 are superb. Just wish the recording was a bit better. Is there any info at all on the labels? Address, BMI/ASCAP info, songwriters etc? I've cleaned up the soundfiles a bit, put them in mono and given them more punch, will add them to refosoul in a minute.
  20. ORIGINAL: LEGAL RE-ISSUE: BOOTLEG:
  21. Here's Simon & Garfunkel's version: And while I'm at it... here's Ola & The Janglers version as well...only issued on a flexi 7" in Sweden (thankfully, some might say... ):
  22. Coasters - Down In Mexico - ATCO 6064 Ray Sharpe - Help Me (Get The Feeling) - ATCO 6402 Levon And The Hawks - He Don't Love You - ATCO 6383 High Keys - Que Sera Sera - ATCO 6268 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd2j3-gqHds Some oddball stuff below that you'd be hard pressed to consider soul, but these are some really good 45s on ATCO in my opinion: Brian Auger - Black Cat - ATCO 6611 (not issued on 45 in the UK) Squires - Going All The Way - ATCO 6442 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GDxi6csi9g
  23. lenny o'henry - across the street
  24. If you mean Tommy Good (of "Baby i Miss You" fame), then he was pretty late in the game as well. That 45 is from 1964.
