  1. There's now about 1 day left on these auctions: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html
  2. Hello! I've listed a bunch of records on eBay. There are label/sleeve scans and soundclips to everything. Check them out at: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html SOUL / FUNK / R&B 45s: Utopias (with p/s!), Pony Poindexter, Aaron Neville, Crack Of Dawn, Street People (unknown modern soul!), Millie, Fuzz, Vic Waters, Mongo Santamaria, Pat & Royal Lancers, Etta James etc, Thanks for looking! Take care. /Sebastian
  3. There might very well be another Equals 45 on the label. I have no idea really, I'll keep my eyes peeled!
  4. This one? One of the most intense things released on the Shout label.
  5. "I Need You Now", as good and punchy as it is, sounds very disjointed/dischordant though. I think there is a bigger chance of the flipside "Still Burning In My Heart" to get spins on the northern scene. Their "Far From The Maddening Crowd" (written by Dan Penn and the flipisde to "I'll Take You Where The Music's Playing") is another one of theirs which seems to be picking up interest.
  6. Seeing as the GREEDY issue usually goes for £30-£50 on eBay, I'm not suprised. Stating the obvious here perhaps but auctions are driven by the desire to grab a bargain. Starting the auction at or near the percieved "value" (or above it!) puts most people off bidding on the item.
  7. James Carmichael arranged it, not James Carr,
  8. Same here! Both 60's and 70's CDs, please!
  9. Found another one with H.B. involvement: Duvals - Last Surf / Ferny Roast - PRELUDE 110 I assume that the ones below are also on the same label: Rhonda Fleming - Cold Rain / My Heart Cries For You - PRELUDE 100 Phillip Sisters - Together We'll Be / You'll Never Know - PRELUDE 106 One of the sides on the Phillip Sisters 45 also got a release on the DRA label. Might be the same group that recorded for ROMARK as well.
  10. Regarding the Broadway 45 on the "other" Prelude label. Perhaps not rare in the greater scheme of things, but it is definitely one of the trickiest Prelude 7" releases to find. It seldom pops up for sale these days and usually goes for $40-$60. Two good sides.
  11. Any additions/corrections? J.J. Jackson And The Jackaels - Oo-Ma-Liddy / Let The Show Begin - PRELUDE 502 Rhonda Fleming - Cold Rain / My Heart Cries For You - PRELUDE 100 Phillip Sisters - Together We'll Be / You'll Never Know - PRELUDE 106 Duvals - Last Surf / Ferny Roast - PRELUDE 110 McGee's - So Tired / Got Ta' Get It - PRELUDE 143 Mac Staten And The Nomads - There She Goes / ? - PRELUDE 1111 Nomads - Icky Poo / Last Summer Day - PRELUDE 1112
  12. Thanks for clarifying. Much appreciated! Building up a satisfied customer base and alerting them when new product is available has been absolute key for me. About 50-60% (sometimes even more) of the people who buy from me in each auction round are return customers.
  13. I hope you're not singling me out there.
  14. There's now about 3 days left on these auctions: https://shop.ebay.com/pushkings/m.html
  15. I'm as surprised as the rest of you! I'm not complaining though. There were three separate bids over $100 ($122, $288 and $293). The winning bid came from one of my most loyal customers (a UK guy, he buys loads of stuff all the time in pretty much all genres). Money doesn't seem to be an object if he wants something. But obviously someone bid $288 as well (a person from Australia). If the second highest bidder hadn't put in that bid it would've gone for $123. But the $288 bid was there, hence the high ending price.

  17. Scroll down to the bottom, it is mentioned there.
  18. By the way, the EJA and GREEDY releases are two different recordings of the same tune. They sound very different from eachother.

  23. Thanks for the info, but I'm aware of that. I only put "vertigo swirl" in the item title in order to catch more attention to the auction so that no one interested in collecting Vertigo records misses it.
  24. That sounds absolutely fantastic!
  25. Congrats! That's a result! Hope you didn't order the promo/demo though as it has got the flipside "Young Power" on both sides.
